I love this polish. Its exciting to see more duochrome shimmers and super affordable. To me this reads as very pale light pink, almost white opal wuth green flash. I find it hard to wear white but this formula is very easy to work with. 2 coata and wore very well. i was surprises. ordered backups and bought some for my niece..

Outter Space Is The Place is a part of Essence Out Of Space Stories Collection, which came out earlier this year. I got so excited when I spotted this collection at my local Wilko that I bought the entire collection (7 polishes) and as they are only £2 each, I felt no guilt buying them. Reason for my excitement? Well, most of the drug store polishes are very same-y and to get anything more unusual I have to buy indi polishes, which are expensive (in comparison). So, seeing this collection on the shelf containing holos and duo chromes for £2! got my heart racing.
Outter Space Is The Place is a very pale pink polish with green, shifting shimmer. I didn’t purchase this polish to begin with, because pale colours like this give me ‘lobster hands’, but I saw my colleague wearing it and it looked so pretty on her that I decided to get it anyway. The formula is not bad – if you have smooth nails 2 coats will be enough, otherwise you may need 3 coats (my nails have vertical ridges. I applied 2 coats, but on the nails where my ridges are more pronounced I could have done with another coat). As predicted this polish was not flattering on me, yet it was surprisingly wearable.
I would recommend you check out this collection.

Outta Space is the Place is part of the seven-piece Out Of Space Stories collection, that is currently in stores now. It is a very light pink pearl formula, that has green flashes in. If you’re looking for a birthstone polish for October [opal], then this is a fitting option.
Outta Space is the Place is one of those tricky polishes to review; it is very pretty when it’s applied nicely, so I’m tempted to go higher for lippie marks and click ‘yes’ for rebuy. But being totally honest, I don’t think I’ll reach for it outside of my rare “I want a birthstone look” moments, as the formula is a pain to work with, so it’s not a easy and quick ‘slap on and go’ option – I found that I had to remove everything and start again as it looked so messy. The polish is pigmentated enough to be a one-coater, but the problem is because as it dries so quickly there is very little time to apply it to the nail, so the brush strokes and unevenness remain visible. With a careful application of two to three coats and a good topcoat it does look nice, but I’m just not keen on the thick look and feel of it.
