Meet me at Sunset is from the Summer 2011 Collection. It’s an orange crelly polish. The crelly formula makes it semi-transparent, so it’s not for you if you are after full opacity. I used to avoid all crelly polishes, but as of late I started to appreciate the ‘juicy’ finish/look they give.
I used 2 coats. And although the formula is sheer, there are absolutely no streaks and the colour/depth builds up beautifully. I love how bright and succulent this polish looks on my nails – Summer in a bottle. It dried fast to a shiny finish and lasts really well too.

I was hoping for an opaque dark orange and didn’t have time to look this polish up online while standing in the store. Unfortunately, while the color was spot on, the finish is a jelly cream, nothing will make it opaque. It wears very well with good staying power and applies semi-smoothly (which is surprising for a jelly-cream). Since I had wanted an orange for nail art, this one went back to the store. Bummer as this was a pretty color.

Exactly the color I wanted. Looks more red on me than in the bottle. I would call it a red although my kid said it was orange – and that’s really what I wanted: a very bright orangey red. The formula was very watery, much thinner than my other Essie polishes, but I didn’t find it to be sheer.

Love , love, love this color. This is my second bottle as I had purchased this a few years ago and ran out. Beautiful red-orange color.

I love love love this colour. I can’t really see how it looks red on some people because it is a true orange on me and in the bottle. I’m pretty pale, I have also lent it to my dark skinned friends and it looks orange on them too. Great formula, dries quickly and lasts a long time (although maybe not quite as amazingly long as other Essie ones I have) and a very clean application thanks to the texture of the polish and the great brush. I agree with previous reviewers that its very slightly sheer with two coats, but its not an issue. `I bought this by accident when looking for an orange-red but actually i’m a convert. Wearing this orange is different, fun but still classy, on-trend but flattering. Some orangey reds can just look tacky and cheap on my skin tone but this works. I’m now on a hunt for an orange lippie too…
EDIT: I’m on my second bottle of this stuff. Absolute fave.

On my nails this is a tomato red not tangerine as seen on the bottle. I bought this while I was looking for a classic tangerine color for summer nails. Yesterday I was making a salsa sauce for dinner and this was on my nails then it caught my attention that my nails and tomatoes were the same color .There are very cheap tomato red nail polishes in drugstore brands, buy them not this. Sadly I regret paying for this.

A gorgeous, rich, medium reddish-orange jelly-creme.
Formula is very nice, smooth application. Two coats was pretty close to opaque, though this does lean to the sheer side so if you want absolute opacity, you might need three coats. I was perfectly happy with two medium-thick coats, but I tend not to be too fussed about opacity. This also has a nice, smooth, crelly finish.
Wear is good, other than rapid tip wear, which I get with pretty much any jelly type polish I wear, so I can’t really hold it against this one.
Yummy polish, delicious warm colour with great depth, very flattering to my fair, cool complexion.

This color defines summer chic. This is the kind of color you could easily see at the hamptons as well as on the streets of Paris lr the beaches of Ibiza. It’s versatile and adds that something extra to any look. It is sexy but not in a vixen kind of way. The formula is excellent. Very opaque with just 2 coats and dries fairly quickly. I promise you won’t stop looking at your nails after wearing this color.

such a gorgeous color, with excellent staying power. i love this shade, it’s a beautiful orange and definitely reminds me of the orange you see in the sky at sunset. it’s my absolute favorite essie polish, i always got compliments on this. i wore it on my toes in the summer because i felt on my finger nails it was a little much for my taste. i kept it on for 2 weeks or so and there was no chipping, from 2 coats. you can get away with one coat with this though, and it’s pretty opaque.
