This polish just makes me ridiculously happy, such a vibrant juicy color right between red and orange! Perfect formula, fast drying, really smooth and opaque in two coats. The only shame is that I feel I shouldn’t spend my day working but on an exotic beach with a fruity coctail on hand!

A beautifully bright, summery red cream polish. It was opaque in 2 coats and topped with Essie’s Good to Go topcoat it lasted over a week. Loved it!

Usually I hear the description of an orange red, warm polish, and I imagine my hands retracting themselves into lobster claws. It’s gross, right? But I really love red polish, and I really want a bright red to work, so I found myself on fifth avenue…
I really dig it. It’s like WnW Everybody loves Redmond, but higher quality (obviously,) and is the perfect addition to my other Essie favorites (wicked and fishnet stockings.)
I’d be surprised to see it look truly awful on any skintone…it’s so weirdly versatile for a summery, bright red.

Got a free sample of this when I was buying skincare in boots. I’ve never used Essie polishes before as tend to buy OPI and Ciate but I am now a convert! I absolutely loved this. I put on one coat very quickly before rushing out one night without expecting much. I was impressed at how quickly and evenly it dried. Three days later it is still on my nails with no chips! I would definitely do two coats next time but you can get away with one. The colour is an orangey red so is perfect for the summer when deep reds can be a little much.

In my opinion, this is the only bright red you need. It is a true, beautiful red that flatters all skin tones, fingers, and toes. It is creme-jelly so 3 coats is best. Not thick or chalky… Just a smooth glowing, slick and shiny mani/pedicure.
I am considering finding a dark red, cherry red, and burgundy red just as good from Essie, and loyally polishing my own nails with them, and swearing off manicures. Application is easy (assuming youre not a total novice) and looks smooth and professional.

It is a nice polish that can be your staples. The color is orangey red appearing to look more orange in artificial light and more red in daylight. Now looking at my nails in daylight the color reminds me of geranium flowers.
No streaks, quite opaque but not very creamy. Having applied 2 coats I can still trace the edge of the flesh underneath the nail. Yet you can get away with wearing just one layer as well. Dries out and wears just like any other average Essie nail polish.

While this is a classic red it still has too much orange in it for me.
I have Essie Snap Happy & ended up returning this shade because it was too similar.
The shade is beautiful, applies well & dries at a moderate speed.
Highly recommended if you dont already have a red with orange undertones.

The classic red.

I love this shade, it is really similar to OPI’s Red My Fortune but I prefer Essie formulations (I find opi dries so fast I’m still trying to finish the nail and find it annoying). Bright red with maybe a hint if orange in there? Something gives it a striking edge over other reds for me.
