This is a very chic, sexy color. I’ve been wearing this on my toes, and chose this over my fave glossy black n/p (Revlon Black Jack). It’s beautiful and glossy w/ Seche Vite top coat. I love the subtle shimmer, which is so pretty in the sun. This is the perfect alternative if you find black a bit bold or “goth.” I will never give up my black polish (Toes only. I keep it natural on the fingers, but anything goes on the toes), but this polish is a perfect 2nd runner.

Properly one of my favorite nail polishes at the moment… the dark grey w. a little shimmer gives a nice finish without making me look to goth like the licorice (black) tends to do. But I have one “big” problem with essie nail polishes in general… they chip on me after a days wear. That wouldn’t be the and of the world if it wasn’t for the fact that it i expensive for the price of 100-150 danish krone (between 14-21 USD or 9-15 GBP) and that’s a lot of money for something that needs to be tiuched op every evening (not to mention use op the product fast…)
I have tried to make it last longer with a nailbase and a topcoat, and that makes it last about a day more. But still bad qality for somthing that expencive.
Mabey I will order them online, if it’s cheaper because I’m not paying full price (the ones I have where on sale).

This is probably my favorite Essie color at the moment. It’s a gorgeous gunmetal grey with shimmer. The consistency is nice and smooth and easy to apply. It chipped a little faster than OPI or China Glaze, but I still got a few days worth of perfect looking nails!

Great color! Darker shade of gray with a little shimmer/tiny tiny glitter particles. I do not like glitter and usually go for matte polishes or with just a little shimmer. But this one I had to try and I really like it because it it´s not like actual glitter, but those particles give this polish a little more texture and depth. What I don´t like is the brush. It is a small round brush as opposed to a flat wide one that I prefer and would be easier to use. Also it chipped after 2 days and I expected it to last a bit longer since Essie isn´t the cheapest brand.

This is a really pretty medium/dark grey. It has speckles of silver glitter in it, but those are unfortunately much more apparent in the bottle than on the nail. I do wish the glitter showed through a tad bit more, but regardless, it’s still a beautiful shade. It’s very fall/wintery and applies really easily. It’s a unique shade in that it’s not your typical light grey, but it’s also not quite a charcoal.

Very flattering neutral dark grey with tiny, subtle silver glitter which shows up in all lights. Love the name, and the colour lives up to it – it reminds me of charcoal marl cashmere, soft, deep and luxurious. It’s dark and wintry but not vampy and goes with everything. Formula and application are excellent. I use a high shine topcoat with it as it seems to dry slightly matte, probably due to all the shimmer.

This is a dark gray (though not so dark that I’d call it charcoal), with crystal shimmer in it. I love this shade; it’s the first gray that’s really wearable for me, I have two other attempts at finding a gray to work for me. It’s a true gray, but brown or blue undertones to make it muddy or too cool in tone. Two coats give even coverage and a nice depth to the shimmer. It wears well, no chipping for four days (I always take my polish off by the fourth day because my nails grow very fast and regrowth is quite visible by then). Essie is probably my favorite brand of nail polish, I own a lot her colors. This is definitely a color I would buy again.

One of my favourite grey polishes. Love the small hint of shimmer. Will use this polish again when is want to wear grey.

My favorite grey of all my polishes. Just a gorgeous grey with a hint of shimmer that I keep coming back to over and over even-though I have over 200 polishes : / It’s a cool grey and medium in depth.
This color reminds me of what the name implies, a soft cashmere bathrobe in winter. Formula is great and in two coats is completely opaque.

This is so pretty and unlike any of the grey polishes I own. At first I thought NARS Storm Bird was about the same, but Cashmere Bathrobe is a few shades darker and has a hint of shimmer, whereas Storm Bird is lighter and matte. Overall, I love this shade – not too blue, too brown or too dark. It’s a very chic grey and the name only adds to it.
