Aqua Violet is from the Beetlejuice Collection 2011. It’s a duo chrome polish and the name of the polish describes the two dominant colours. Personally I found that this polish mainly looks like Aqua, and only under certain angle/around the edges can you see Violet. However, I really like this colour, so it is not a problem for me.
This polish looks a little sheer in the bottle, so I decided to use it over another polish (I used a teal, cream polish), meaning that instead of applying multiple coats to build up the density, I only needed 1 coat, which gave me the desired effect. It is fast drying. I had a small chip after 2 days, but this could have been down to the base colour.
In all honesty there are better/more striking duo/multi chromes out there, so it this is the main reason which attracts you to this polish, then I would give it a miss. However, it is a very pretty polish in its own right. I would hesitate to use it without the base colour.
