I’ve been eyeing this beautiful OPI shade for a while now, and finally took the plunge and bought it. I tried it on for the first time tonight, and it looks MUCH brighter on my skin than it does in swatch pics online! I’ve got very sallow NC20 skin, and Suzi Nails New Orleans looks like highlighter pink, leaning towards highlighter orange. Pretty interesting how a shade can look so different depending on your skintone! Anyhow, I was really hoping for this to be a little softer on me.
The formula is thick and streaky. After applying two coats, I still had a few see-through spots, but I didn’t add a third coat for fear of it looking too thick and taking ages to dry.

This is a nice bubblegum pink. It’s not too bright I like it for the summer when I want more vibrant nail colors. I have to use 2 coats which isn’t too bad. I wouldn’t repurchase it because the color is nothing special I can easily find it elsewhere at a lower price

Suzi Nails New Orleans is a pastel bubblegum pink cream. The colour is beautiful and would suit all skin colours and tones. It is a fun, girly colour which is great for summer. It is not overly white based or chalky looking. However, while I like the colour the formula was not good to work with. It is very thick, and was quite gloopy. I used two coats, but due to how thick the polish was it looked as though I had used a lot more. The formula made it impossible to apply the colour in thin coats, and it took a lot of work to make the manicure look neat and presentable. While I was happy with the final outcome, the formula required a lot of work and what should have been a quick and easy manicure turned into about an hour of painting. The colour did last for about 4 days with top and base coat. I like the colour itself, and once I had worked with it, the manicure looked pretty. However, I would not repurchase or recommend anyone buy this colour due to the poor formula.
