A classic summer polish! Two coats and you’re done. It’s beautiful left textured but the shimmer truly pops if you add topcoat. Since it’s textured I highly recommend wearing peel off base coat to make it easier to remove. The only thing I don’t like about this happy polish is that it does give me minor staining.

Jinx is a beautiful orange with red leaning so it’s not too citrusey looking. This is an orange with a beautiful shimmery glittery grainy finish and a golden flash. This is vibrant but not a neon at all, it’s a happy bouncy fun Tigger orange and I love Tigger. It has a textured sandy look, and this is simply gorgeous on. I didn’t think orange was a good color for my fair skin, but this one proved me wrong. This has a fine sandpapery texture but it has a smooth feel and it’s not rough or scratchy at all. I love these liquid sand textured polishes. This applied easily and was almost opaque in 1 coat, but it needed two for a rich color and best coverage. This dried down quickly and I love that it doesn’t need a top coat speeding up my total mani time. The wear on this this just so-so. It did chip on me in a couple of spots but that may have been the result from a peeling nail rather than outright chipping polish. I did have some significant tip wear though on several nails and that is probably because this has no protective top coat and didn’t get the usual reapplication of top coat every other day to protect my mani. I don’t think it’s really a terrible polish at all, I think any polish would have similar results given the same treatment. This is such a warm happy summery shade, and the textured surface bounces the light back and the sparkles glow and it’s like tiny embers with the lights dancing and shimmering. That is just indoors, and then get this in the sunshine and BAM! Sparkles everywhere. This is just soo pretty. I wore this for 4 days before it had to come off but I didn’t want to remove it, I enjoyed looking at it so much. This is a great polish, perfect for summer. Yes, please!

Jinx was the firt liquid sand I purchased and exceeded all my expectations. I read a lot of reviews about OPI’s Bond Girls collection and I was actually thinking of buying Honey Rider or Pussy Galore but when I’ve seen the complexity and incredible colours in the Jinx bottle it was love at first sight 🙂 I love the orange-coral base and the golden sparkles. It looks great on both fair and taned skin. It’s easy to use, dries relativelly fast and is a head-turner whenever I wear it

This color is just stunning. I normally only like creamy polishes without any shimmer or texture, but this color is an exception. It’s a corally-reddish-orange with gold shimmers and liquid sand texture. The texture gives a nice depth to the sparkles. The combination is just gorgeous. I can’t stop looking at my nails when I wear this. It’s joy in a bottle.
The polish itself is very easy to apply and 2 thin layers is enough. It dries fast and it stays on very well on me (but most polishes do on me). I find that I can use a very thin topcoat like essie no chips ahead on top of it without losing the gritty texture. This also makes the sparkles a bit shinier. That combination stays on my nails chip free for 7 – 10 days.
Overall this is the only shimmery and textured polish that I like and it’s even my new favourite polish. I’ve already purchased 3 back-ups, which pretty much sums up how much I love it.

I’m sorry to say I hate this color. I’m crazy about the latest sand texture trend, but I’ve come to like Zoya’s Pixie Dust far better than OPI’s Liquid Sand. From the Liquid Sand colors I have ‘Stay The Night,’ ‘Vesper,’ ‘Pussy Galore,’ & ‘Jinx.’ I’m not intensely impressed w/any of them, & out of all of them I like ‘Stay The Night’ best. I did give them good ratings but I don’t like them better than Zoya – Zoya’s texture is denser (while still being sheer & buildable) & easier to work with (though it does thicken up quickly due to the grit density & fast evaporation – easily fixed w/some thinner).
OPI’s formula is harder for me to work with – it’s very thin & watery, looks like regular polish when wet, & takes longer to dry into the sandy texture than Zoya – I end up w/visible dings & dents in my OPI polish despite the gritty texture (OPI grit is finer & dries smoother than Zoya grit). I still like the texture, it’s just that OPI is hard for me to work with & the color results under-spectacular. I expect something so HE & costly to look as fantastic on me as Zoya does (or more so). The brush is too wide for my little nails & it’s hard to apply mess-free due to the brush size & runny texture – grit polish isn’t the easiest formula to clean out of flooded cuticles.
So why do I hate this particular color as well? I think due to the strong golden flash, it looks much more orange & shiny on my complexion than the muted coral it appeared on the store swatch. I would’ve loved soft coral w/some golden sparkle to it, but on me this is orange sparkle. I wish I could refund it. In Google pictures it looks amazing on other ppl (it seems to photograph differently).
I’m don’t mean to bash OPI, I know a lot of ppl love this brand & deserves its good reputation. But after collecting some 10 various colors of OPI polishes over the yrs & not loving any of them at this point (even the intensely coveted ‘Mad As A Hatter,’ which I think Mattese has a better version of), I’ll probably call it quits w/OPI. (‘Warm & Fozzie’ was my worst OPI purchase ever.)

Ive never been fond of OPI but their liquid sand formula is just amazing!
Its orangey-red colour with gold glitter. The base is quite sheer so it requires 2-3 coats. On my nails its look great to 3-4 days which is long for me, after I usually get one small chip. Other advantage is that you can just put a little bit in the place of the chip and it looks the same.

I love this colour. I purchased it for $7 off of a private seller. The lasting power is not the great – it chipped after 1 day, but all polishes chip on me. I love the colour, it’s very unique. I’m not completely sold on the texture nailpolish trend, but it’s growing on me. This is a red – leaning coral – with gold glitter in it. Absolutely beautiful in the sunlight.

I bought the 4 pack Bond girl sampler. I have only tried Jinx so far -the bright orange – the color is awesome. The liquid sand has some real staying power but it was tricky to take off.
An up date on this formula. I love the colors but it is a horrible pain to remove. I may have to swear off this product.
