Deep hot pink creme color. There’s nothing really exceptional about this color, except that it would probably go with any season and I could also wear this at work.
Opaque in two coats. It doesn’t dry super shiny but I would put a top coat on it anyway. It is a little bit messy in the application but nothing a clean up brush or q-tip dipped in acetone can’t fix.
Maybe OPI gave it the creative name because it looks like a refined hot pink? Who knows. 🙂

This is a beautiful bright pinkish-red polish from OPI’s fall 2016 collection. It’s extremely close to an old favorite of mine, Revlon Cherries in the Snow; although Madam President is much glossier.
The application is so smooth and is opaque in two coats…it went on perfectly..no streaking or dragging.
Perfect!

There is a red for everyone and not every red polish will work for every skin tone, but this is my red. I am loving this happy youthful red. This was released for fall 2016 in the Washington DC collection and at first I thought this was so out of place for a fall color. This is such a pretty shade of red and although it leans pink in the bottle, it looks straight up cheery cherry red on me. This is a fun polish in that it looks simply classic red 90% of the time, but then when this gets in certain light like my kitchen fluorescent lighting it takes on a berry coloration and the pink side comes out. I have had compliments on how nice this looks on me. I knew I loved the color on me as soon as I put it on, but when others see it too, I know that makes it a real winner. I have fair skin and most reds look stark and harsh on me but this one while vibrant and definitely red, isn’t a hard cold color and it’s very flattering on my skin. The formula on this is great and it goes on smoothly, feels very creamy, and it’s good to go in 2 beautiful coats. This did not run, flood my cuticles, pool or drip from the brush. The brush on this was nice and is standard OPI with a medium sized flat brush with a straight cut edge. It was very flexible and fanned out beautifully for spreading the polish out. I loved how this applied, and how great it has looked right from the start. I’ve had this on for 4 days now and although it did show slight tip wear on my index finger, that is to be expected and normal wear and tear. I had no chipping and no shrinkage. As always, I used a protein treatment base coat, 2 coats of color, and a layer of fast drying top coat Seche Vite. I am not even a red polish lover, and it pretty much only finds it way onto my nails twice a year, at Christmas and at Valentine’s Day, and this one has already made it way onto my favorites list. I might be wearing red more often now. I love how happy and cheerful this color looks. This is such a classic must have color. I am soo glad I picked this up. This is a perfect year ’round red and it’s carefree and happy for summer but perfect for that Santa suit red in winter too. Love this one, Yes Please!

I can’t believe I’m the first person to review this, in an election year where a woman could become the POTUS…. Anyways, Madam President is one of three reds in OPI’s 2016 Washington D. C. collection, and is the lightest and brightest of the three. Like the others, it has a cool undertone; it has a lot of pink in it and in some lighting, looks almost like a fuschia raspberry mix. It is really a beautiful, striking color and I’ve gotten several compliments on it. Application was easy; it’s almost a one-coater (although I always apply two).
