Another Ramen-tic Evening was released as part of OPI’s Tokyo Collection in 2019 and it is one of my favourite shades from the collection. It is a lovely creme polish in a shade of baby pink with a slight mauve undertone. It’s a very understated and classy look, but girly and pretty too. It makes for a lovely mani or pedi. The formula is great, no streaking or running and it is easy to work with. It dries quickly and to a shiny finish, and when paired with base and top coat wore well for 6 days (so slightly longer than my typical wear time from OPI). I believe this shade would suit every skin tone. It looks nice on short nails as well. I really enjoy this shade and would happily recommend it.

Used this for a late summer pedi and it shows off well if you have a tan (I have super pale skin so my idea of a tan is not very tan). It is a creme (pink with a cool tone) – not quite baby pink and softer than a Barbie pink. Not easy to apply but I had apro do it, so it looks amazing. Would not buy the bottle but for a one-shot pedi it was great.

This is such a beautiful color – a soft baby-pink crème, very feminine and girly-girl. You do have to apply it carefully because like many (most?) light, opaque shades, it does have a tendency to go on patchy. What works best is if I ”float” the brush over the nail, depositing the polish without actually having the brush touch the nail (or at least not pressing down on it). It takes a little practice, but I think it’s worth it.

Another Ramen-tic Evening is from the spring 2019 Tokyo collection, and it is a baby pink creme shade. The strong white undertone makes it look brighter than it really is, so it makes a lovely spring/summer shade – it makes even my fair skin look tanned and glowy.
As much as I love the colour the formula is a different story, so I can’t recommend this polish – unless you find it on clearance, and are prepared to work with it. The formula is prone to streaks, which seems to be a general problem with pink-with-a-strong-white-undertone shades. If you are careful with application and top it off with a good topcoat, then it is okay; but an okay formula isn’t really acceptable for the price of OPI polishes, and I expect a better quality. OPI have released over half a dozen similar shades over the last few years and the ones that I’ve tried have all had subpar formulas, so they need to step things up and/or leave this type of shade alone.
Essie’s Nice Package is a very similar shade to this and has a better formula, plus can be found online for half the price of this, so I’d recommend that if you’re looking for this type of polish shade.
