The colour itself is a cute pastel pink. Really horrific to apply. It takes 3-4 coats to get good opacity. It can’t be worn sheer; it’s just too darn streaky,

Love the colour but my word it’s a horrible formula. Very disappointing as it is a pretty shade but who has time to keep applying so many coats to get rid of the streaks and dark spots. Really only usable if you want a completely opaque finish but the drying time is poor too so prepare for a long session !. The bottle will be recycled because I love Essie brushes and I’ll decant a Zoya colour into it so not all is lost.

Much Muchi is a pretty shade of pale, marshmallow pink which can be worn either sheer or built up to opacity. I like to wear it opaque so therefore use 3 coats over ridge filler (Essie Fill The Gap). I have no issues with streaking at all, so I would recommend applying this over a ridge filler. I also found it to be a very good a self-levelling. The formula is great, easy to apply. It can flood the cuticles a little but is easy to control for the most part. It dries to a shiny finish, but did take a little longer to dry than my other Essies – even with quick dry top coat. The finished result is lovely. It is a sweet and pretty pink which is conservative enough to wear at work or any other conservative environment. It lasts for around 4-5 days on the nails when paired with base and top coat which is in line with Essie’s other polishes. I can recommend this one for anyone needing a sheer but buildable pink for work or another environment.

I just don’t learn when it comes to Essie’s light colors – the colours themselves are so pretty, but application is a pain.
Muchi Muchi is a very lovely light pink in the bottle, and I was really looking forward to having that colour on my nails. Not going to happen. First coat is extremely streaky, 2nd not much better. No way am I going to put on 4, 6 or 7 coast so polish (as some Essie users do to get the effect they want). These polish don’t dry quickly, especially if you apply heavy coats (I don’t).
So I stopped at three where I think it gives a “not perfect but wearable” look”. It’s still a bit streaky, not opaque and not the intensity of the bottle colour.
Maybe I should go back to using dark colours … ????

The worst Essie polish I’ve ever used. I have quite a few favourites and typically adore the Essie formula and top coats… But this was a no-go. Streaky formula, takes 3 coats to be as opaque as it’ll ever be, which isn’t even perfectly opaque, and because of how many coats you need, it takes a lot longer to dry. Disappointed because I love love love the colour.

Falling in love with the color, i buy this one to fit with a new dress. Deception about the application, you need to apply a good base coat before, at least 3 coat of this lacquer to have a good result.

Looks too bugglegum pink, and not right on my skin tone. A little childish looking.

In 3 coats this pretty shade of pink got to full coverage with my nails. I LOVE this color, but I’m not sure the color compliments my skin tone well.
I will use this bottle but when or if I ever get around to finishing it, will probably not repurchase. Needs top coat to last, as do any other essie nailpolishes.

Muchi Muchi is one of my favourite essie nail polishes that I own. It is extreamely OPAQUE in just two coats which suprised me since in the bottle it looked as it would be very sheer and many of the reviews down below said it to be. The shade itself is an amaizing light pink colour that still stands out. I haven’t seen any other brand selling such shade, so I do believe it to be one of a kind.
The staying power is awesome. I had my hands in running water several times and I did not see any chipping of any kind. But don’t worry with a good remover (like the maybeline one) it goes of like a dream and does not stain your nails at all.
It is great to use as a base for a design or just use it on its own.
It is a colour every girl should own and it is definately a shade that I will repurchase after I run out 🙂
