I have read that this shade is similar to “Louboutin red”. I can’t say for sure if it is similar to the Louboutin shade, but imo Tigress Knows Best is very much a true red, a very flattering red that I think many skin tones could wear. Bold but not obnoxious. Classy and very classic looking. If you want to try a true red but red shades intimidate you, this might be a nice shade to try. One of the easiest reds I have ever applied. Goes on smooth, no bubbling or streaking, just glides right on pretty effortlessly. So those aspects I think make this even more user-friendly for those wanting to try out a red nail polish shade.
This is a creme shade, no sparkles or shimmers. Can be worn with cool tones, warm tones or neutrals (clothing or makeup) and be very flattering with all tones, I think. Application-wise, this glides on easily and is opaque in 2 coats. One coat is actually even very pretty on the nails and very even and smooth, but for me, I just prefer 2 coats.
As with all MT bottles, I love the design. I love the brush, the brush applies the polish like a dream and pretty effortlessly. Reds for me can be a little finicky and fussy to apply, but this one is really almost effortless to apply and looks like a professional manicure when finished. Great formula and I can get a good 4 or 5 days before showing any signs of wear. From the Morgan Taylor Kung Fu Panda collection. I actually bought this on a Clearance rack for a very affordable price…Thrilled!! One of my fave reds, for sure!! Just a great formula and a great true red!!
