Everyone else has done a great job of describing the colour and yes, it’s a beautiful holographic shade that’s great for the fall/winter season.
Staying power is excellent and two coats gives me great opaque coverage. The holographic effect isn’t as noticeable as other brands (Color Club makes excellent holographic polishes) but Mirrorball has a lovely subtle effect.
A definite must have for every nail polish lover.

This is a beautiful holographic nail polish! Very shiny with a lovely grey base (with the slightest hint of purple, only visible when the holo effect isn’t). For such a shiny polish, it’s highly wearable, and it’s one I keep going back to.
The Orly bottle is nice and big (18ml), and it’s got a good brush that isn’t too wide. The bottle top is very comfortable as a brush handle, with a good shape and texture. Applying it neatly is pretty easy, so little clean-up is needed, and it dries fast. It’s very nearly opaque in two coats, but I really don’t like VNL so I go with three, and it’s one of the few polishes I’m still willing to wear with three coats because it dries so fast (I’m not all that patient).
The wear is good. With a decent top coat it doesn’t chip easily, and the tip wear isn’t bad, either. It’s one of those polishes that looks decent five days later, too (long to me, but work is hard on my manis), so it’s a nice low-effort kind of polish. The only thing that requires some effort is removing it, but you get that with all glittery polishes so I’ll not hold it against it. If it were truly opaque in two coats, I’d probably rate it a 5.

LOVE this! The rainbow glitter called to me from the bottle. This is s glitter you can wear all by itself. It has a grey base that makes it opaque in two coats. Just as complex on the nail as in the bottle, which is impressive. Typical Orly wear time for me, which is almost 5 days with minimal tip wear.

Beautiful holographic polish. I used 3 coats to achieve the finish I wanted. It has grey base, which means you can get opacity quicker, but it also means you can’t layer it over another colour, unless it’s grey.
Wear time was phenomenal, I had it on for 5 days and by the end of it there wasn’t even tip wear (usually with most polishes I get tip wear on day 2).
I only bought Mirrorball in miniature bottle, so will definitely repurchase as full size.

This polish lived up to all the hype…its AMAZING!!! This is a silver linear holo sprinkled with holographic glitter. Its so beautiful…espically in the sun!! I like 3 coats and a topcoat. Dries fairly quick and lasts forever. Bravo Orly!!!!

This is from the Winter 2014 Sparkle Collection. This is a silver linear holographic polish that is phenomenal. Rarely do we see this kind of halo in a mass market brand. This isn’t as intense as some linear halos but it is beautiful none the less.
This also has some random halo glitter pieces thrown in for a different effect that is lacking in typical linear halos. It lends to the uniqueness of this polish and is a must-have in my opinion. I found 2 coats to be opaque but some people I noticed are using 3. Easy formula and great packaging from Orly as usual.
