This is a better dupe of the famous Essie shade, Angora Cardi. I own both and swatched both on paper and did one on each nail. Identical unless you specifically know which one is which.
Angora runs a tad darker that makes it pull dark plum/brown after 2 coats and under natural light, looks almost brown. Beet Pray pulls true plumy mauve and stays true after 2 coats and doesnt darken to distort the color and looks just like in the bottle under lighting once applied. I think Angora has more plum vs. Beet has more rose mauve but once applied, the two are identical. I dont like super dark nails (unless its black or you can really tell the color) so I totally prefer Beet Pray Love over Angora Cardi. The color is more fall and natural, applies so much better, formula is better, and I love SH nail brushes.
So glad I found this color– will be wearing it all fall!
