A deep grass green with lots of golden flakies. It looks shimmering, almost lit from within, in the bottle, but is a lot less impressive on the nail. Good, 2-coat opacity, though.

The first review I posted for Illamasqua polishes, I said I wouldn’t buy again as it stained and chipped really badly. Well, I think I must have had a bad batch or something because every other polish I’ve bought from Illamasqua has been nigh on perfect. This one IS perfection!
Colour – sort of a dirty teal with gold/brass coloured microglitter. Brings to mind verdigris roofs. The description says it is matte but it’s not, I’d describe it as satin. I LOVE the colour. It’s different without being in your face, and it’s so flattering.
Application – this is almost a perfect one coater. It goes on smoothly, doesn’t pool or drip and is completely self levelling. I don’t think I’ve had such a good application from any other polish. I used a quick drying topcoat only because I was going to bed and didn’t want to accidentally ruin it – but it was touch dry very quickly.
Packaging – I love the bottles. I like that they are square as they store nicely; I like the fact the lids come off easily to make it easier to apply. The brush is a perfect length and shape for my nails.
Wear time – honestly I got 5 days easily out of this polish. Sometimes more, sometimes less, but if my nails are not peeling and in bad condition underneath the polish then it lasts remarkably well.
The only thing I don’t like about this polish is the price, but when you offset this against all the positives it negligible really. If you want to splurge on an Illamasqua polish, choose this or Raindrops. Both beautiful, unusual, wearable, and long-lasting!
