This is an icy, pale pink creme. It’s sheer, but I’m able to get sufficient opacity with 3 thick coats (and that’s coming from someone who loathes VNL). This is my favorite pedi shade, because it makes my feet look clean and polished even if I did it at home rather than at the salon. Although I do bring it to the salon, no shame in that!

Update: I purchased four polishes from Dollaroma & ALL seem to be old thick. I will give this the benefit of the doubt and blame Dollaroma for old stock. In the past I have purchased many Revlon polishes and the overall formula is great. Rating upgraded to four (based on pretty colour.) Changed to repurchase – not a dollarstore!
****Warning dollar store polish may be old stock
I picked this up at Dollaroma (Cdn dollar store) for $2.00. I usually really like the formula of Revlon. This is a very pretty pinkish colour on me.
BUT the formula is so streaky. I did two coats over a base coat and did not have the patience to continue. I threw the bottle out and took off the existing polish.

Firstly, I will preface this review by stating that where I live, Revlon nailpolishes are extremely expensive, & can range from 15 to 23 dollars, depending on the polish. However, there was a deal going on, which enabled me to buy one Revlon item & get another one free. Thus, I decided to purchase the Lilac Pastelle nail polish, as I had been looking for a colour like this for a long time.
I don’t regret buying it because I got it for free, but if I had actually paid for it, I would be upset. Firstly, the colour is nothing like it is in the bottle. On me, this is baby pink. There is nothing lilac about it. However, I can deal with that. What I have a problem with the most is the formula. It’s really streaky. The opacity is fine, but the formula is streaky & my polish ends up having bubbles in it when it dries. This is after just two coats.
The thin brush doesn’t help the application, either. I much prefer the Rimmel brushes. They are so thick that nail polish application only takes a few seconds! In fact, I much prefer Rimmel polishes in general. They are my favourite polishes because they are long-lasting, they aren’t streaky & they have good brushes. So save your money on this one!

Overall this product looks great in the bottle, i fell in love with the colour and it seemed as if it would be true to its colour. i was wrong.
i got home and painted the first coat on my nails, you couldnt even tell i had any nailpolish on. when you reach your 4th coat thats when you START to see the colour start to reach the same as that of the bottle. i bought this polish for $18 ( very expensive in australia) and i am not/was not impressed. Usually i really like revlon nailpolishes, especially the bright colours (reds, oranges and pinks) they all have great pay off. but i dont reccomend revlon for minty, pastelle colours. i think your better of going higher end (i hear essie, has great pastelles) and getting it worth your money

Like many other reviewers have mentioned, the color of this nail polish is very gorgeous! It looks very nice with my tanned skin and I don’t feel like it washes me out. The biggest problem that I have with this is that the formula is very thin so they first layer is streaky. Then when you try to apply the second coat, it turns out all bubbly and lumpy. This polish also NEVER DRIES!! I would wait maybe 10+ minutes after every coat, but it still is very bubbly and uneven. I really wish this polish would work for
me.

This is a gorgeous colour! Really beautiful pinkish with a hint of lilac. its not boring, but you can wear it to work and still know you’ll be taken seriously!
The formula is kind of thinish, like most revlons. since its such a pale colour you’ll need 2 or 3 coats, but thats the same with all pastels i think.
This lasts very well, and on me it ‘wears off’ in a really odd way.Maybe my formula has air bubbles in it or something but after about 5 days it gets these teeny tiny little dark looking pinprick sizes marks on it. its weird and makes it look like my hands are dirty, but i really love the colour and it looks gorgeous until then so i still wear it. 5-7 days is perfecetly acceptable wear time for the price of revlon anyway i think!

Like most of the people, I LOVE this colour! It looks really pretty with my tanned skin tone. I’ve been getting so many compliments. 🙂 Yes the formula isn’t very good, takes me 2-3 coats and I reapply every 3 days. It takes a long time to dry so you have to be careful! Personally I wouldn’t pass up such an amazing colour just because it has a bad formula. Just be careful after you apply it, and it will look GORGEOUS!

This is a horrible nail polish :[ The color is extremely flattering, but that’s the only pro I have for this polish.
The formula is just awful. This never dries. Ever. I’ve tried layering on the polish and waiting, and I’ve tried just gooping it all on and neither have been successful. I’ve been sitting here for about three hours now, and the polish is still tacky and dent prone. It’s also streaky, so even if your first layer does dry, you’ll probably need 2-3 more to have anything opaque.
The polish is also sticky and bubbly. I don’t get it. I mean I guess it’s cool if you have an entire day to kill waiting for this to dry, but whats the point if the polish just bubbles up and looks gross as the end result? I wasted half of the bottle just trying to get this to look decent. It’s not worth the money in nail polish remover when you inevitably bump your hand into something and you screw up your manicure anyway.
Never buying again! :[

I’m in between with this one. I like the colour – a milky lilac, but the formula is what let me down. Very watery, runny, sheer formula. Needed at least three coats to get a decent colour on my nails. (Quite similar to the formula of Revlon’s Minted). Can be a little streaky when you apply the second layer. Doesn’t chip so easily though.

Gorgeous colour, horrible formula! It’s so watery and streaky that I need a whole load of coats to get full opacity and no streakiness. The colour is a gorgeous pinky lavender colour that will flatter most skintones. For the price there’s no excuse for the formula to be so difficult! For that reason I would not repurchase.
