Less is Norse is from OPI’s 2017 Iceland Collection. It is a lovely deep blue gray toned polish with lots of deep purple. A great cream polish – beautiful and classic.
The formula was perfect with no running or pooling. Consistency was great. It applied like a dream and was opaque in 1 coat on my short nails. With longer nails you may need two coats to reach opacity.
Less is Norse comes packaged in the standard OPI bottle with their Pro Wide brush. The brush made added to the ease of application. I got good wear and removal was easy with no staining.
OPI runs $10.50 a bottle right now but you can often find it online for less. I was fortunate enough to find this at Smart Style Salon for $4.00. I do think that this polish is worth $10.50 if you can’t find it for less. I would definitely repurchase should I ever need to do so.

OPI Less Is Norse is from OPI Iceland Collection in 2017. This is a fall/winter collection of that year. This is a cool tone blue/purple with lots of dark grey base color. It finishes with the creme formula.
I don’t think I have such a color in my entire OPI collection. It is a unique color. If you look at it indoor, it is very much grey blue color. But in nature light, you can definitely see the purple in it. I still find that it leans more towards blue than purple.
The application is great. I use a good two thin coats and with the right technique, you can get it opaque. Because I use thin coats, the color dries really quickly.
This is a beautiful fall/winter color. I think it is definitely on trend. I wear it to work and got so many compliments. Even for a good evening out, it is nice to wear with an elegant black dress. I will definitely recommend this color if you like anything unique.

This is a striking and unusual shade of dark, dusty greyish-blue. Application was great – it went on very smoothly and was very shiny even before I applied top coat (top coat made it insanely glossy). The moodiness of this color does evoke the mystery and magic of long, dark nights in Iceland.

Less is Norse is from the OPI iceland collection. It is a dusky denim blue. If you compare it to cooler blues you can see that it has a little purple in it. On the fingers it looks like a dark denim and reads as blue and even in low light. I find this to be a really easy casual color to wear.
The formula is a classic creme. It was easy to work with and was opaque in 2 coats. Normal dry time.

This color is amazing! It is brand new from the 2017 Fall OPI Iceland Collection. Creamy dark blue with hints of grey and purple. Kinda like a creamy navy but heavy on the purple/grey. Hard to explain. Not too dark but perfect to transition into fall. Iam so bored with pastels now so ready to dive into some beautiful fall colors. This applies like a dream. Super smooth and creamy. Have not seen a color like this in a while so very happy. Out of the collection this one is my favorite followed by Suzi and the Artic Fox. Go out and get this one!!! Pretty cool color!

Less Is Norse was released as part of OPI’s 2017 Iceland collection. It is a dusty shade of dark blue, with a slight tinge of purple and grey in it. Whilst it is a dark shade, it is clearly blue on the nail and does not look black, like some dark shades tend to do. I received a lot of compliments on this colour, and believe it would flatter all skin tones. It is very pretty and I believe it could be worn in all environments – even conservative ones as the dustiness of the polish tones down the blue. This colour also had a great formula – it was fully opaque in two coats and I had no issues with streaking or patchiness. It dried quickly and to a shiny finish. It wore on me for 4 days before chipping when paired with base and top coat, so slightly less than my other OPI polishes. However, I was very heavy on my hands those days, so I was pleased with the wear time on this polish and imagine that it would normally last nicely for 5 days, in line with my other OPIs. This is a gorgeous shade to pull out in winter and I would happily recommend this colour.
