I got a color from Rite Aid that’s annoyingly not labeled and I can’t find any swatches online that compare. It looks like the lavender one in the uploaded photo, but this one has pearlescent shimmer in the bottle. Unfortunately the shimmer is very subtle once you get it out of the bottle and it dried matte and VERY dark. I mean I know that it’s normal for nail polishes to dry a touch darker on the nail once you get them out of the bottle but this looks like a totally different shade. I have to pair it with a glitter topcoat to skew the color to how it looks in the bottle. I only paid $4.29 though so not upset. Will wear it on my never seen toes.

This is one of the worse nail polishes I have ever used. I got a bottle in my June ipsy box and was so excited to try it.
I painted my nails in the morning and by afternoon the polish was already chipping. Lasting power < 24 hours= trash can. Its lasted a decent amount on my toes, but its still in the trash.

Julie G. is on You Tube and she has her own polish line under the Jesse’s Girl brand sold at Rite Aid and online for $3.99.
I’ve been looking for some new spring colors so I thought I’d try some from Rite Aid.
I bought Bikini, 9 to 5, Gelato in Venice and Oh em gee!
First the bad Bikini a neon, pink coral. Little did I know this was a matte, (It’s not indicated anywhere on the bottle), It dried to a chalky finish and was a streaky, blotchy mess. I applied four coats and gave up.
Next is my favorite hue 9 to 5 a pastel, bright peach, that I can’t find a dupe for anywhere. This color is unique but, it is a matte and had the same chalkiness and streaking that Bikini had.
Gelato in Venice is a pastel mint cream, that leans green more than blue with a shine finish. The hue isn’t unique but the formula is very good and can be a one coater.
The last was a surprise to me Oh em Gee! A very bright almost neon hot pink. When it dried I discovered it was a satin matte, but not chalky or streaky. I normally don’t like matte polishes but this color and finish look great together. Two coats are all you need.
My advise? If you’re going to try some of these polishes, save your receipt.
