Jam N Jelly is a bright, hot pink from Essie which has a subtle shimmer. It applies easily, opaque in two thin coats (could get away with one thick one if you prefer!) and has good staying power. The colour is bright and fun, perfect for Summer and when you want to channel your inner Barbie. Every girly-girl needs this colour!

I really like this color and it’s glossiness, but I find it to be too similar to tour de finance by Essie, which I also have.

I picked this up at TJ Maxx on a whim and it’s turned out I love it more than almost any of my other pollishes. I’m not good at doing my own nails and this goes on nice and smooth. It doesn’t look frosty but it has some shimmer that makes it look more shiny and fresh. The bright color looks good next to my pale skin. I use it on my toes.

I love to use this on my fingers and my toes. Even though it’s a bright pink, I could see myself wearing this any time of the year because it’s so pretty and cheerful. I usually have problems trying to find nail polishes that flatter my extremely pale skin. It is a blue based pinkish red with a little shimmer. The application is so easy, even for me, and I’m terrible at doing nails. It creates the perfect color in just in 2 coats. It lasts a very long time, doesn’t chip easily, and doesn’t get dull after while. It’s perfect. 🙂

It’s a bright bright pinky redish. omg it screams summer. I wear it on my toes. It’s great for a night on the town. I wear it all year round.

I love Jam N Jelly! I always see it at the nail salon but have been in the mood for dark colors lately. Today I went for a pedicure and decided to get this color- so pretty! It’s a bright fuschia pink that has some shimmer in it, which I like, as the color sometimes gets a bit dull when the pedicure has gone on a few weeks. The shimmer keeps the polish bright and happy without being too outrageous, and like all Essies, has a great lasting period. I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews on this!

This is a must-have, especially for a bright pink polish junkie like me! On my pale neutral skin, this makes a great manicure or pedicure. Very summery, and I love the shimmer. I only need 2 coats to get a nice opaque coverage.

Jam n Jelly is working on being my new favorite summer pink polish! It is a hot pink/fuchsia with a smooth shimmer background and a blue/purple flash in the sun. The application is flawless, and the polish is decently opaque in 2 coats. This one is not too bright for a summer mani and makes a great pedi color as well.

I love this color!! I just did a pedicure with this yesterday and it looks so beautiful 🙂 The name for this color perfectly describes it, it does remind me of raspberry jam. It’s a dark hot pink and has a very slight iridescence. It painted on easily and was opaque in two coats and dried quickly. I would definitely buy this color again.
There is a photo of my pedicure with this color on my notepad.

There are no stores near me that I can buy Essie at, so I have to rely on the internet, which isn’t always ideal for choosing a nail polish colour. Jam n Jelly was definitely not what I was expecting – it was much more of a fushia pink and more shimmery than I thought. I was disappointed at first, but after trying it as a pedicure, I love it! It looks even better on than in the bottle. Its a really juicy bright pink, with just a hint of hot pink shimmer. A definite summer pedicure favourite!
