Dior are my favorite nail polishes by far:
– Nice color selection, and 257 Incognito is no exception (see the stock photo I uploaded)
– Incognito is a very elegant soft mauvey nude, I find it quite unique
– Glossy gel finish
– Smooth application, rich opaque color with two coats
– Relatively fast drying
– The brush is wide and very pleasant to work with
– Two coats plus top coat result in very impressive longevity
$27 before tax is a steep price, but I feel it’s worth it due to its high quality.

ETA: If anyone knows of a dupe for this polish, pls PM me! I’m running low and it’s become my favorite day-to-day polish, and I’d rather not pay so much for another bottle.
I was coveting this polish for a while, and was thrilled when I found the last bottle in stock at a local Sephora. I wear pink polish almost exclusively, but I’m a bit particular in that I don’t like overly bold or bright pink, like magenta or hot pink, but I also don’t like pale or baby pink. Anyways, I’m a big fan of a gel finish, so that along with the demure pink tone of Incognito is what drew me in.
The polish definitely has a gel finish, with a bit more volume and shine than your typical polish. The lasting power wasn’t incredible, but I would say it was above average.
With one coat, the color is a muted pink, with maybe a hint of mauve. I’ve also tried it with two coats, which turned it into almost a pinky taupe. I was actually kind of surprised how much the second coat changed the color. It wasn’t bad color, but I’m not a fan of the way taupe looks on me, so I only wear one coat now. The good news is with one coat, the coverage is still quite even and opaque – a second coat really isn’t necessary with this polish unless you’d prefer to bring out the brown tones a bit more, imo.
I’m not sure if I would buy this again because, being Dior, it was absurdly expensive. I only treated myself because I had a gift card. That said, I’m not normally a sucker for a big name brand, but I can’t lie – the bottle does still look damn cute on my nightstand.
Anyways, if you have a gift card or feel like splurging, this is an excellent, subtle pink, and a reserved but chic option for the office or anywhere.

This is my first Dior polish, and it won’t be my last. I love the brush and the formula. It goes on smoothly and easily, and looks glossy and semi-opaque in one coat which is pretty impressive for a nude shade. Incognito is a dusty nude pink that leans mauve, similar to OPI Dulce de Leche. I intended to get Lady from the spring 2015 collection, but it was too white and chalky for my complexion and Incognito caught my eye instead. A bit pricey at $27 but if I find a shade I like, the formula and brush are worth it!

I am totally in love with Dior nail polishes. My latest acquisition is a pinkish nude color named Incognito. It is almost the perfect nude color for my complexion – as close to a natural nail as I have found which is a nice alternative to brighter or darker colors. I find it difficult to locate nudes that don’t look chalky or just the wrong shade for my complexion. I am so impressed with these polishes and that is in spite of their very high price.
