I really like this color.
It looks really pretty on toes and has just enough sparkle.
The formula is rather thin and could be more opaque which is sad because you need to build it up quite a bit but I like it to much I will put up with it.
Also as the norm the brush could be better.

This polish is a pretty dark purple with a violet purple shift and has lots of lighter purple and hot pink glitter. Great toe nail color. Goes on sheer but builds fast. Looks good with one coat or three.

One coat was quite disappointing. It was sheer and streaky. Three coats and this color comes alive. The color is royal purple with medium sized purple sparkles in it. After three coats, the shade on the nail is true to the bottle. I actually find it very pretty on the toes as well. This color really compliments my skintone and well, I love you….I Love You!

I love this polish! I never wear purple, but the bottle spoke to me in the store and at $.99 I figured I couldn’t go wrong. The formula was a little on the watery side, but after 3 coats it looked just like the bottle. This is one of my new favorites.

A warm-toned purple with lots of tiny hot pink glitter. Pretty, if not the most exciting shade in my collection. Like most Sinful polishes, it’s too sheer – I’m still not satisfied with the opacity after 4 coats. It also began showing tipwear rather quickly, within a day or so. The Sinful cap/brush is very slippery and not terribly ergonomic, making fine brushstrokes a little difficult at times. Sinful polishes also lack “balls” to help the polish mix when shaken. 2/US$3 on sale @ Walgreens.

I swapped for this nice pure purple color from Sinful. I would say it’s more of a reddish purple than blue, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s a true purple.
Anyway, it’s quite gorgeous in the bottle – a somewhat deep sparkly, seemingly shimmery purple. However, on the nails, truth be shown, it is in fact not a true shimmer nail polish. It’s actually a thin purple jelly infused with tons and tons of micro-sparkle particles.
So here’s the bummer with I Love You – it’s extremely sheer, yet strangely more viscous than you’d expect for such a sheer – in the actual consistency – like runny jelly. I had to pile on four coats to get a decent level of opacity and even then, it looked much lighter than the color in the bottle. It actually looks more purple on the nails because it’s not as deep. The sparkles are very visible thanks to the sheer consistency. And given that this is a jelly – very very shiny and squishy-looking! So I would have to say – the annoyance of the super sheer several layers was worth it in the end because it does reflect light very nicely – it appears rather glittery!
I use Seche Vite with every manicure anyway, but it was definitely necessary for my four generous layers of I Love You. I imagine I would’ve been handicapped with wet nails for several hours had I let it dry itself.
I didn’t notice this chipping any more or less than my usual manicures, but I change them so frequently so I can’t really say!
Not too bad for $1.99, but I’m sure there are better value shimmery purples out there. However, this one ain’t bad at all! And if glittery-like purples are your thing – $2 can’t be beat!

I love the color. Beautiful bright magenta purple with pink shimmers. If you do one coat, you’ll get a very very sheer coat that is hardly noticeable. You’ll have to put this over another base color to get the sheer purple/pink effect. If you want to use this as a base color and get that beautiful purple, be prepared to use about 5 coats. The formula is extremely goopy and thick. What i do is to first apply one coat, which comes out very sheer. Let it dry, then continue to apply additional coats, letting them dry in between because it is VERY goopy. But, if you’re patient and do it, it will come out very very pretty. I love the color, but not sure if I will purchase again because of the goopy formula.

This works better as a topcoat than a solo polish. It’s a sheer blackened purple base with pinky purple glitter. This would look fab over black polish. By itself it needs about 3 coats.

Like all Sinful glitters this needs a base. I’m always surprised when I read people whining about how many coats you need w/ sinful glitters when the very simple solution is to simply put it over something. For this one I used Jordana ‘mardi gras’, but any purple-blue would work (SH ‘spark’ for example). Anyway, once it’s over something it’s a very pretty light purple glitter; drying time was very good, and wear was also good. For $2 you can’t go wrong 🙂

I’ve never used this stuff alone– I always use a coat of it over my darker, vampier polishes like Rimmel’s Play Fast in Hard Edged (similar to OPI, Black Tie Optional) or Sally Hansen Insta-dri in Uptempo Plum. It adds a perfect pop of subtle sparkle and a LOT of depth to darker polishes. And it’s a right bargain at $1.99 at Walgreens. Drying time with Seche Vite is quick and easy with just one coat.
