I like kittenmint’s description of the color of this polish. It is a pale blue, lavender and dove grey mix. Almost a pastel but it is such a unique and beautiful color. I wasn’t as successful reaching opacity, but it was mostly opaque for me in 2 coats. I didn’t want to chance a 3rd coat because I was afraid that would be too many layers.

I Am What I Amethyst is a gorgeous shade from OPI’s soft shades collection. The name is a bit misleading, I wouldn’t necessarily describe this as Amethyst as it is a bit too blue. It is a pale blue, with a hint lilac and light grey/white undertones, without any chalkiness. It looks very pretty and flattering on the nail – unique but pale enough to be somewhat conservative. It has a great formula, fully opaque in two coats. It applies easily without streaking or bald patches and dried quickly and to a shiny finish. It wore well, lasting around 4 days on the nails when paired with base and top coat – and I was heavy on my hands when wearing it. I received a lot of compliments when wearing this colour and would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a nice pastel shade.

I am what I Amethyst is a gel color – (soft shade) that is promoted as lilac but looks like a pale periwinkle blue on me. Easy, streak-free application with 2 coats of gel and wears for weeks! (I am on day 17 right now.)
Reminds me a bit of You’re Such a Buda-pest but a bit paler.
