I’ve run out of my China Glaze OMG Holos (great) and Milani Holos (very good) polishes and been looking for replacements. So I thought I’d try a few from Chi Chi. The polish quality is good, covers well in 2 coats, dries fairly quickly without pooling or bubbling. Lasts 2 days without chipping with Seche Vite top coat, comparable to other good cheaper brands (I usually get 3 – 7 days with medium to high end brands). But the actual holo effect is poor. Only when I look at the right exact angle at night under light I can see a slight scattered holo effect. In the day it just looks like flat dull plastic indoors and NO holo at all. Even a coat of shiny Seche Vite top coat doesn’t help. Outdoors in direct sunlight on a sunny day at the right angle it looks beautiful though. I’ll use it in the warmer months when I’m going to be out in the sun, otherwise I don’t think its worth it.
