I wish we could fully swatch these before buying, as Essie is one of the more expensive nail polishes out there (for me) and they never impress me. Like almost all my most recent Essie purchases, I love this in the bottle, but on my nails, hate it. I thought it would be sheerer, to let the shimmer through, but 2 coats make it a white-blue White-out pen on the nail. My hands and nails do not look flattering with chalky pale polish. Maybe on teens, but if in your 30s+, pass. Do not think I’ll ever wear.
On the other hand, I can slop on a $3 metallic Sally Hansen insta dri polish, one coat, applies easily, dries in seconds, and looks amazing on the nail (go for gold).

I’m giving this two lippies because it has a decent brush and the color itself is a nice cool light gray.
But I’m so sick of Essie colors having a beautiful microshimmer in the bottle which is undetectable once applied. If anything, it only serves to compromise shine and finish.
ALL THEY DO IS NAIL POLISH. The should do it right by now. I’ve bought really cheapie polishes that follow through with beautiful shimmers upon application. Essie is actually the only polish that I’ve had this problem with, almost every single shade with this beautiful in the bottle shimmer falls flat on the nails.

Go With The Flowy appears in the bottle to be a neutral grey with subtle shimmer. On my skin tone (Nc15) it did pull a bit more blue, still grey but blue based rather than neutral, and the shimmer barely showed up, even under indoor lighting and bright sunlight. The colour itself was pretty though, but it was disappointed by the lack of shimmer. The formula was good, it applied easily without streaks or bald patches and was opaque in two coats. It dried easily and to a somewhat shiny finish, but this one definitely needs topcoat to make it very shiny. It wore well, lasting around 4 days when paired with base and top coat. I was very heavy on my hands when wearing this so I was pleased with the wear time. Overall it’s a pretty colour but I wouldn’t repurchase.

Surprisingly I absolutely love this color! Not too blue nor grey. Just a stunning pale grey with light hints of blue and sparkle. Too much blue and the color is ruined for my skin tone so this is awesome!!!! I have received numerous compliments. This is from the 2016 winter collection but I could see this also in the spring/summer. Love to put a light silver glitter on each ring finger. 1st coat a bit streaky but 2nd coat stunning. Must use a top coat (SV) it does tend to be dull without. So in love❤ Iam out to buy a second bottle as a back up!!!! Iam a avid polish collector and this has been one of if not the favorite in the last year!!! ????????????
