First Class Ticket is from the autumn 2010 Vintage Vixen collection, and is still fairly easy to find online. It is a deep purple shade that is filled with violet and blue shimmer that sorts of fades back in the deep shade, for a glowy finish. Shimmery purple shades are easy to come by, but I like that it’s deep and vampie but is still clealy purple, and the shimmers give it a bit of a is-it-purple-with-a-touch-of-blue-or-blue-with-a-sprinkle-of-purple blurple effect, placing the shade a little above others in my collection in terms of favourites.
This might not be the most unique of polish colours, but it has a winning formula; it’s not too thick and gloopy, but is not thin and streaky either. This shade straddles the line between being a one coater and a two coater, so sometimes there’ll be one or two thin spots with just the one coat on me, so I do find that I need that second coat to level everything out. Someone who is better than me at painting their nails, will probably only need the one coat. Here’s my usual statement for nail polish reviews; polishes in general will last me anywhere between two to four days with only minimal wear. But as I’m a self powered wheelchair user I’m tough on my hands and am always catching my nails, so I can’t really speak for how long lasting the formula is overall.

Interesting polish from the China Glaze Vintage Vixen collection of 2010. Many of the swatches online look decidedly blue, but it’s definitely purple… most of the time. In fact, the base of this polish is a cool-leaning purple, but the shimmer is decidedly blue, and in some lighting situations (and in digital photography), it has a definite blue aspect. So while I would call this purple, I’m also going to have to say that it’s a blurple (indigo). I’d call it medium dark, and while in low light it can look off-black, it does retain its purple character most of the time (the blue shimmer helps to light it up a bit, too).
Application is okay, though I found it a bit easy to drag, because the polish dries fairly quickly. Best to get it down in as few strokes as possible to avoid bald spots.
I’m a big fan of blurple polish, and I do like this one, though it’s not my favourite. I wear it occasionally when I just want something a little different. Nice little polish, and a bit unusual.

This is the most beautiful aubergine purple with a glossy finish. It is dark but never looks black, it has teeny blue sparks in it if you look closely, but it is really just an awesome rich purple. I have had so many comments on this colour, seems like everyone loves it as much as I do!
I used to only use OPI but I am liking china glaze better now, it seems to have a better formula. This was opaque in 2 coats and I still have no chips after 3 days which is great for me, I am very rough on my nails!

This is the purple that I’ve been looking for all fall and winter. Just beautiful.

Love this color so much. It is an LE though :(…very pretty purple with blue tint. Also had pretty sparkles that shimmer.

unfortunately the brush in the bottle I bought wasn’t great. Not like the other CG polishes I’ve used. So I will just assume the brush issue is only this particular bottle so I didn’t deduct a lippie for it.
This purple is sooo pretty. I bought the last bottle at Ulta but if I were to find it again at the store I would buy another bottle. This is such a pretty deep purple color. I really wanted something similar to lubu heels with a purple glitter but did not find anything like that so I left the store with this and grape juice.
I polished my nails while my nephew was napping (he work up early) but even with him getting up early I didn’t end up messing up my nails. They dried quick enough even though I had to put a second coat on 3 nails after he had already woke up and I had to get him a snack of crackers and juice. I did use a base coat and sherani tufcoat plus calcium top coat which I love. dries quick and keeps nails shiney.
I will update about chips since I just polished my nails today.

Such a amazing polish, brilliant colour, lasting power, everthing, couldn’t be happier with a nail polish. Was at the salon and saw another client with it on their toes and I had to have the same colour. Then I went to Ulta and picked up a bottle for myself, I’m really impressed with the overall quality of China Glaze, but this colour is spectacular on my NC43/44 skintone – shines really well, hasn’t chipped in almost a week (on my toes mind you).

PERFECT purple for fall. Not too dark so that it looks black, you can definitely tell it it purple but it does have a dark base. Beautiful shimmer and the staying power if pretty good for a dark polish with a top coat anyways. I will be wearing this plenty during the fall.

This is a very nice purple “blurple” polish It has a very dark base which makes it a little hard to see the depth of the shimmer. It reminds me of OPI Ink with a little less shimmer. Drying time is great on this one and application is pretty easy. No complaints!

What a gorgeous purple! If you are into purple polishes I recommend you get this for your collection. When I am outdoors and the sun hits my nails (as you can see by the pics I uploaded) it is the most beautiful purple i’ve seen, I just can’t stop staring at my nails. It has a great formula, bought it at a decent price as well (paid $4.50 at Sally’s Beauty Supply with Club Card). Nothing bad to say here, so go out and get yours!
