Bella Vita is my first nail polish by Eve Snow. I picked it up at TKMaxx at a highly discounted price. I believe the full price for this polish is around £14. Each of Eve Snow’s polishes contains nourishing ingredients to fortify your nails.
Bella Vita is a sparkly duo chrome polish. In some light it looks brown/bronze, in other it appears burgundy, but occasionally I also notice gold, pink and purple in this. It’s a very appropriate colour for autumn (I don’t know what possessed me to try in in summer).
The bottle has a removable cap, like is the case with many high end brands. And usually I really like this feature, as it is designed to make it easier to grip/hold the brush, but on this occasion it didn’t work for me. The inner cap seemed unusually small and where the stem of the brush was quite thick and the polish heavily built up around the stem and the brush, it was difficult to hold and to control.
The application was a little tricky, due to the thickness of the polish. I used 2 coats. It took long time to dry even with my usual quick dry top coat. I had it on for 3 days, in that time there were no chips or tip wear.
I wouldn’t repurchase Bella Vita, because it is very similar to another nail polish I own, Hard Candy Crush On Lava. For me the quality of Crush On Lava Is far superior and it is easier to get hold of. Having said that, it is a very pretty polish and if you find it at a good price I wouldn’t discouraging you getting it. I would be interested to try other polishes by Eve Snow, possibly in a different finish.
