This is a warm milk chocolate brown that has a purple tone in some lighting situations. It doesn’t really look the same on the nail as in the bottle; the bottle seems cooler-toned with more shimmer, but the shimmer isn’t that apparent when you apply it. It goes on with two easy coats and looks great for a fall manicure. Wear time was better than some OPIs that I’ve used. I like this one a lot but it’s not my favorite brown in my collection.

Darkened espresso base (not blackened per se, but almost there), with bronze (and some slight gold, but mainly bronze) micro shimmer. The perfect espresso brown base, too: not too much red, green, or black… Goldilocks! If you love brown, and if darker colors look good on you, try it! I actually wear this year round, and it never seems inappropriate. Looks awesome with the summer tan.
It’s in the classics collection, so readily available. Application is fine with 2, but I like the richness of 3.
My dark chocolate brown OPI winners and losers:
Losers: Suzi Loves Cowboys and Get in the Espresso Lane looked too green to me (think baby poopie). You Don’t Know Jacques has too much grey. I thought Guys and Galaxies looked like a nice dark brown, but it’s actually a very dark maroon, that appears brown in some lights, but it’s not brown. I thought it would be a backup to Suzi Says Da, but it’s not.
Winners: Perfect dark brown creme: Suzi Says Da. Looks like dark chocolate almonds you get at Whole Foods. Beautiful. When you want a little shimmer, Espresso Your Style is so lovely and adds just a touch of spice. Awesome and stare-worthy in the sun!
Buy again? Oh yes…I’m on my second bottle.

This is perfect shade for fall. I love this bottle. Easy to apply, but need 2 coat. The formula is amazing, and the nice touch of shimmer makes it really pretty. Have you tried it with matte? It looks like leather, very cool!
I would definitely re-buy it, I won’t find nicer plumish-brown than this!

I was hesistant to purchase this polish, due to some ratings on here, but I said heck with it and got it! (I sometimes, well actually a lot of the time, like things a lot of people don’t, lol) This is such a nice shade of dark brown with hints of gold reflects. The consitency was great, and applied nicely with two coats. This is a great fall color for sure!

This is the most gorgeous color! It’s a cocoa brown with some burgundy undertones and looks fabulous on me! It’s shiny and chic. It’s not so dark that it looks black but instead it’s this gorgeous shimmery brown that will work with any outfit you choose to use it with. In my opinion it’s very work appropriate but it’s also very evening appropriate also with a little black dress. I urge you to buy this, it’s simply fabulous.

Disappointed with this one =( It is definitely NOT a true brown, it has burgundy/plum undertones which do not suit me at all, erch! It started chipping after 2 days. It does dry quickly which is good but then you have to be quick with your application..

I love this colour and I love that name! It was my first dark OPI colour and I´m still in love with it. It´s a dark brown colour with no redish or purple undertones (that´s why I like it). It just have golden shimmer. I like this colour in summer, I like it in winter. It´s one my most favourites colours and bonus is that it´s a little bit rare, cause it´s some older collection. Yep, I like the oldies 🙂 And I like coffee, so OPI Espresso is my must have.

Love it, love it, love it. Espresso Your Style is a deep true dark chocolate brown with micro golden glitter in it. I found the brown as a bit of mauve tone in it. Just tiny a bit, not too much. The finishing is shimmer and you need two coats to bring out the true color. This is probably one of my favourite color as the brown compliments my olive skin tone. I am glad I bought this one. It was one of the Christmas collections and discontinued since. It’s a must to have if you like brown nail polish.

I bought this in the little tiny collection with Lincoln Park at Midnight, Mrs O’Leary’s BBQ and Lincoln Park After Dark.
Let me say that I hate these tiny little bottles. You can never get enough polish on and the brushes are teeny tiny.
As for the color, it is a gorgeous brown with golden brown and red shimmer. I don’t find any plum too it, the base is quite brown and in the very thin, first coat I applied, it reminded me of Romeo and Joliet. In the photo (sorry for the uber-pale skin, it’s Winter), the color shown was three thin coats. I found that three thin coats got me to bottle color…two coats wasn’t quite enough coverage in some spots.
What I love about this color is that it is dark without looking black. It has depth. It is dark, but there is no question that even in subdued lighting, this is a deep brown polish.
Very sophisticated, very wearable (for work too) and more brown than CND’s Cuppa Joe (which is a more reddish brown shimmer) and lighter than CND’s Fedora (which can be very dark).

This is such a rich looking cocoa shimmer in the bottle, but it looks meh against my coloring (warm w/golden undertones), which is especially pasty this time of year. I bet this would look great with tanned and darker skintones though. Great quality polish as always, but just not my color.
