This is just a great green! I’m in Texas so I had to phone order it, which was pretty expensive imo. With tax and S&H the total came out to $13.76. But I also had a problem with MAC’s Peppermint Patti’s formula. So this was refreshing! It applied very smoothly and was opaque in 2 coats. It’s also nice matte! I use this with ChG Glacier and Essie MAY on top and I think it looks gorgeous! Wears like iron (like most OPIs I’ve tried), too. This is also a creme (no shimmer or glitter at all). OPI made this polish for Damone Roberts salons, and I think the shade is based off his wallpaper? Not too sure, sorry.
It is very close to MAC Peppermint Patti and OPI Hey Get In Lime. It is pretty much smack bang in between.
DR1968 is a little bit darker and ‘greener’ than Hey Get In Lime, where as it is a little more subdued than MAC Patti.
Two coats is all this baby needs. Much better than the 3 or 4 needed for the other two similar shades.
Very smooth and trouble-free formula.
