I was really excited to buy this polish because it’s absolutely gorgeous from the outside, black with a variety of multicolored sparkles but I was very disappointed when I used it. this is a top coat which really only looks nice over a black polish. it’s basically a clear glitter with massive random glitter chunks and requires layers upon layers to look nice. not the best, pretty disappointed.

Comet In The Sky is from the Gwen Stefani holiday 2014 collection, and it is composed of various sizes of black hex and iridescent hex glitter in a clear base. The black hexes seem semi-matte, whilst the iridescent hexes are mostly invisible in some lighting and shimmer blue, green, and copper in others.
Comet In The Sky Is the black version of the white and iridescent glitter combo in the topper Snowglobe Trotter (which is from the same collection).
The glitter applies fairly evenly and smoothly when you dab it on [rather than strokes], and the base is quick to dry. I love black glitter toppers because they go over any colour, so you can’t go wrong with it. This sparse glitter mix also is great for jelly sandwiches (blue is my fave colour for this). I was also really delighted to find that this topper adds about two days to the life of my manicure too.
Comet In The Sky was the first polish in the collection to sell out, but it is still fairly easy to find and buy on various Ebay stores [at the time of writing] so get it now if you’re interested in it – I can see this becoming another Mrs O’Leary’s BBQ or Teenage Dream must-own shade…

This is a very unique glitter polish from the Gwen Stefani collection from Winter 2014. This is very sought after and I had no idea, I just grabbed it because I liked it a lot. It’s a mix of black hex, irridescent glitter, copper, teal, and smaller black matte.
It’s gorgeous. I love this over white, as a jelly sandwich, and over dark colors. This reminds me of an indie polish.
