I am pleasantly surprised by this! After trying Powder Room (from the same SH line) I was not expecting much as that one had applied too thickly and with streaks. However, after a particularly low day, I decided to give myself a manicure and finally give Therapewter a shot. After applying a clear base coat, I added two coats and let dry before adding SH Insta-Dry. It applied easily with no streaking at all. This looked fine, but to get the same look as pictured here, you actually need 3 coats. This is the same brush design as in the SH Complete Salon Manicure line, which in the past I have found too big and and sloppy. In this case, the bush was perfect, grabbing just the right amount of polish and gliding on with no streaks or globs. I am pretty klutzy, and this truly applied like a dream and looked like a professional manicure with very little effort. For that alone I give it 5 lippies. Color: As you can see, the finish is metallic with fine shimmer. I thought the color would be more distinctly green, however I’d really describe this as gray with green and gold iridescence. When I looked at this under bright lights “mother of pearl” is exactly what came to mind. Extremely pretty, very unique color and finish IMO. If you are wedded to neutrals but want a little bling, you’ll find a friend here. For a regular polish, the lasting is normal. On day 3 it still looks decent but will start to chip unless you add another top coat. With care, this can look for up to 5 days. Would definitely repurchase.

ETA: just put this on my nails again today 3.16.18 and I’m always blown away at how amazing this polish applies and looks. Such a classy but bold color, I honestly could wear this most days out of the year and be happy. Chip free, too.
I cannot believe no one has reviewed this beautiful polish yet! I got Therapewter with a ton of other great polishes from SH’s Color Therapy line. This is a gorgeous metallic, glittery gold with hints of green (google for more pics). Because the colors mix well – it does come off “pewter” from afar on your nails. It’s a great neutral for me to wear when I don’t want something too shiny (like silver) or dark. I put 2 coats on my nails, applied smoothly, no issues, no streaks, the brush is awesome (no base coat) and topped with Seche Vite – and I’m going on my second day with an almost perfect manicure (some tip chipping at the VERY edge of my nails, but it’s BARELY there). Going a day without chipping on my nails is extremely rare, I’m very rough with my hands and do not baby my nails one bit. I usually only last a day with unchipped nails, if that. This stuff is beautiful, classy, edgy, and long-lasting!!! Do try!
