If you like bright, neon polishes, you will love this one. Unfortunately it’s too bright for work, so I can only wear it on my toes (or holidays). I marked it down slightly as I find Collide is prone to pooling. It didn’t effect my fingernails, as I kept them flat whilst they were drying, but my toes are naturally curved up, which meant that the polish was thicker at the bottom (by cuticles) than on the top.

Amazing neon pink. It’s different from all other neon pinks I own and is super bright. Applies perfectly and doesn’t chip. As it’s matte, it also dries very fast and really shines with a top coat.

I adore (as in absolutely love) this polish. Collide has already been well described here as a very vibrant, almost neon fuchsia creme without any blue undertones. It’s beautiful in the summertime against my NC 35/40+ skin, in fact I would say it’s the ultimate summer pedicure polish for me and absolutely one of my favorite colors of all time. As for the formula, it’s typical Illamasqua; a perfect consistency, self-leveling, and hard-wearing. Another one of the details that makes Collide special is its amazing shine – after two quick coats minus a top coat, this polish shines like no other creme I own. While it’s not an inexpensive polish, in this case you definitely get what you pay for…so if you can, I would highly recommend investing in Illamasqua’s polishes in general. They simply can’t be beat.
ETA: I just wore this polish on my toes for three straight days at the beach, which normally eats at my pedicure like nothing else. Collide however looked just as good the last day as the first day. Impressive.

I love bright, neon pinks so I picked up Collide with no hesitation. It’s a gorgeously bright hot pink with bubble-gum undertones. It takes 3 coats to reach maximum opacity, dries relatively fast and has a nice shine to it. It’s expensive – £13.50 in the UK, but, there is an almost ‘dupe’ for it though – Model’s Own Bubblegum. I would say though that Bubblegum is a tad more cool-toned, so if Collide is out of your budget, try Bubblegum.

What a lovely polish. It applies smoothly and evenly despite being a very saturated and vibrant color. It sets in no time thanks to the fact the consistency is on the thinner side which is nice. The price point is debatable, it is expensive but it also outperforms just about everything else on the market.

OMG, I am off most Essie and OPI polishes (the only exception- Essie Chubby Cheeks) and hooked on these. The coverage, brush, application and color are the best I have ever tried. No streaks, spreads very evenly upon application unlike other salon brands. The color is very neon and bright, which I love for my toes. You can test them now at most Sephora stores. The cost is $14 a bottle, but worth it.

This is my first Illamasqua nail color and I think I will be hooked – I really have never before used a polish that was so easy to apply. Or maybe easy to apply at all. I’m really clumsy with polish application and if a product is too difficult to work with, it usually is given away because I just don’t have the patience. I’d rather have unpolished nails than a messy looking manicure, and I can’t afford getting them done professionally.
I applied three coats of this in MAYBE five minutes and it looked perfect. I think you could get away with two just fine. No lumps, bubbles, completely even – just perfect. The color is great for summer. It’s not a super glossy color (I think it says satin finish on the website) but I’m sure a topcoat would fix that if you would prefer more shine. I haven’t tried it yet, but probably will soon.
Some people think this price is pretty steep because so many nail colors are cheaper, but personally, I NEVER use up all of the product in my cheaper polishes. I seriously think it has not once happened before. So to find a color so pretty and effortless that I think I could actually use often enough to finish the whole bottle – that is worth a few extra dollars. Illamasqua makes really beautiful colors and I have my eyes on Baptise and Ruthless. I wish they made a few plummy colors. Maybe in the fall! So glad Sephora carries these!

Collide is a beautiful neon pink. Not for someone who only wears neutrals or dark shades. But it’s gorgeous! One coat gives a good coverage, but do it properly with a base coat, 2 coats of this, then a top coat and you can easily get a weeks wear from it – and I mean easily – the only reason I don’t know how long it would last after that is because I love to change my nail colour! Illamasqua create the most amazing colours with one of the best lasting formulations out there. It’s expensive (£13.50 in the UK) but worth it. Collide is very similar to Obsess, but a little warmer and lighter. I love both!
