Cherry Cosmic is a berry-coloured, glitter polish. It came out last year in Mavala Cosmic Collection. As soon as I saw the pictures of this collection I wanted it all. Luckily I only bought 1 polish to begin with.
I applied 2 coats, which covered my nail well. But, it dries to a textured finish (I do not like textures). I ended up applying 3 coats of a top coat to smooth it out and to give it that shiny, glass-finish I was after. But the following morning when I run my finger over the top, it was still slightly rough. I love Mavala polishes, which is why I found this one so disappointing.
It reminded me very much of China Glaze Where’s The Party Cannon At. Only Cherry Cosmic is richer/darker and less glittery. Needless to say I will not be repurchasing this polish or buying any more from this collection.
