I have never heard of Cheeky polishes, until I received their Advent Calendar last year. From a quick Google search I have learned the they are created by the people behind Cowshed (pricey hair and body products).
Li-lac Detector is a light lilac creme polish. It’s far too chalky for me and doesn’t not look flattering on me. The application is pretty poor too. It is very streaky. I used 3 coats, but because I didn’t like this polish on me I topped it with 1 coat of KBShimmer Mauve On Over, which has change the colour of this polish, as well as adding glitter – I loved the finished look. But if you want to wear this polish by itself, you will need 4 coats.
I was going to give this polish 1 lippie, but because I found it to be a good base for Mauve On Over, I am likely to wear it again and therefore it’s not a complete write off. However, I would not recommend this to anyone who wants to use it by itself.
