Check Out The Old Geysirs is from OPI’s 2017 Iceland collection. In the bottle it looks like a light grey polish with a blue shimmer. Unfortunately on the nail (in most lighting conditions) the shimme is hardly visible and it looks like a grey-blue polish.
I have the Infinite Shine version of this polish (my first one). I thought this polish would be thin and would need at least 3 coats, but I only needed 2. Although this is supposed to be ‘infinite shine’ I fount the top coat added more shine and brought out the shimmer (I used INM Out the Door, as opposed to the OPI top coat).
All in all, this is a pretty and original polish with a good formula.
P.S. if you are looking for something similar which shows the grey more (and makes the blue shimmer stand out more) try Color Club It’s a Sign.

Love OPI and their formula, always have. Easily one of my new favorite colors. Absolutely stunning greyish dusty blue shade with a strong blue flash! This has changed my mind into really liking blues, since I was old school still only liking reds, pink, or oranges. Could not stop looking at the color on my nails, so interesting and pretty, can’t get enough so I bought two bottles just to be safe! Wear time was great, at least 5-6 days and I am hard on my nails too, wash constantly. Formula was smooth and easy, maybe a one coater if careful, but two looks better. Looks great on my pale skin. Just Love it!

Check Out The Old Geysirs is a polish released as part of OPI’s 2017 Iceland collection. The polish is a dusty baby blue with a sapphire flash which is prominent in the bottle, and visible on the nail under certain bright lights. In other, not so bright lighting the polish looks like a creme. The flash is pretty, I just wish it showed up a bit more on the nail. I can’t fault the formula of this polish, it has great coverage for such a light shade of blue. All I needed was two coats to reach full opacity. It lasted very well on my nails – 5 days without chipping when paired with base and top coat. I did get compliments on this colour and I think it is a very flattering shade that could be pulled off by all skin tones. It is a very pretty shade to pull out in the cold weather, the slightly grey tinge to the baby blue gives it that winters feel. This is a very pretty shade which I can happily recommend to anyone.
