Braziliant is a really fun, summer colour. It is a bright, but not neon, medium orange laced with gold shimmer. The shimmer is much more noticeable on the nail than it is in the bottle, but is only very noticeable up close. From a distance, the colour looks like a warm, orange which gleams gold in the sun. It applies easily, two coats provided good coverage, but you could still see the nail line when looking closely. If this is a pet-peeve for you, I would recommend three coats but two works well. It isn’t a sheer polish. It dries easily, is chip resistant and lasts well. I only suffered from very minor tip wear. This colour is great for summer and is a very unique orange. It would look fabulous on medium, olive and dark skin tones.

I am seriously impressed with this polish. Its a beautiful bright orange color with pink-ish shimmer running throughout. I was able to achieve complete opacity with 3 coats (I was having trouble with bald spots). But what I am most surprised at is the excellent wear time. I’m typing this on my 5th day of wear and I have absolutely NO CHIPPING. Just minor (and that’s a very minor at that) tip wear. And this never happens to me. I’m usually the person that has to change polish every couple of days because of horrible chips. Not this time! I’ll wear this again and again.

I’m so impressed with this polish! I got it for 3.99 @ tj maxx, and assumed it would be super sheer due to the shimmery color. However, it is matte with only two coats. It’s a vibrant orange that really brings attention to your nails.

Bright coral- orange. Great for spring/summer. Application was ok. I wouldn’t purchase again because I prob won’t finish the bottle.

I really like the color of this polish. It makes both my fingers and toes pop. Looks orange in the bottle, but settles to a bright coral on my nails. It has a pink flash in it which, unfortunately, does not show up on the nails so much. It’s analogous to Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Kiss Me Coral if you want that retro-ish look of matching lips and tips (well, I liked it when I tried it, anyway).
The problem with this polish is by far the formula! It’s a weird thin-yet-goopy formula. It took me three coats to achieve full opacity because of this formula weirdness. Even worse, it began to chip off my nails before 24 hours was up. I used Nail Life Gripper and Diamond Dry as base and top coat, respectively, and I don’t have this problem with other polishes, even polishes a fraction of the cost of this one.
Maybe my particular bottle sucks. Maybe the polish didn’t jive with my body chemistry? It doesn’t matter, I won’t repurchase this dud.

I picked this up on sale at Ulta while looking for an orange or coral polish, and I was not disappointed! In the bottle it looks orange with a pinkish shimmer to it, going on it looks straight up orange and then it dries to a bright, opaque, very slightly sparkling coral. Two coats were all I needed and it had enough shine on its own not to need a top coat (though I did one anyway out of habit). The formula is thick but not gloppy, goes on smoothly and dries pretty quickly, without any bubbles. This is a really pretty, flattering summer color and I definitely recommend it!

those are my brown toes with braziliant above. i like the color. i bought it while scanning the sale section at ulta (and probably the only reason i bought it) but it’s cool. it’s not for the faint at heart. it’s bold, vivid and cream (not frost). i like it. i have some more fall/winter type oranges but this one makes me happy when i look at my toes. i don’t know if i’d use it on my nails alone because it’s pretty bright but it could work on a vacation or as part of nail art. i polished fast so it wasn’t streaky for me, plus with toes the space to polish isn’t really big but i had not issues with the consistency of this polish. i topped it off with orly sec n dry and it’s shiny and pretty. happy toes!

Show stopping traffic cone orange with silver micro glitter!
I found this in the discount bin at ulta for 5 bucks. It’s not quite a one coater, but its not streaky on the traditional sense. I get a few bald spots with one coat.
I wear this only on my toes as it is pretty intense and I get compliments on it all the time. I live at the beach so summer colors fit in realy well and I don’t get funny looks for neon-ish colors. your milage may vary, its LOUD orange.

Bright metallic orange with a hot pink flash (microshimmer). Creamy opaque coverage in 1 – 2 coats. Without top coat the finish almost suede-like and the color is somewhat dulled. With a top coat it really brings out the vibrancy of this color and adds a shiny finish I think it deserves.
I’d like to respond to the first person who thought that Essie contains Formaldehyde and is trying to deceive us by not putting their ingredients on the label. This is incorrect. I have the box from the Essie Summer collection that Braziliant came in, and it clearly states not only “Formaldehyde free”, but also “DBP free and Toluene free”. Essie states ALL Essie are the big-3 free and always have been. Essie were doing this before it became fashionable and every other big brand jumped on the bandwagon!!
