Bamboo white is actually the palest shade of pink imaginable. It’s an opaque creme polish (two coats are what’s required – one coat is a bit streaky) and possibly the only pale pink that has ever looked good against my medium/tan olive skin. This polish is perfect for the hands. It’s self-leveling, and Nails Inc. has the best brush out there, making it easy to paint cleanly along the cuticle line. This is supposedly LE from a collaboration with Victoria Beckham, but it’s been around for a while. I love it so much that I bought a backup just in case. No matter what you think of Victoria Beckham, she certainly knows her nail polish shades, as they are the single too best ones in the Nails Inc. line. (The other is Judo Red). Highly recommended…just have patience and get past the first streaky coat!

I bought this on sale, so I paid $12.50. That is on the high end for me now that I prefer indies, but at the time it was a decent deal since Nails Inc. polishes are normally $14. I bought this to have an opaque version of Essie ballet slippers, or OPI bubble bath. First, it is not white. It is a pale pastel pink. The bottle is matte black, and when I took the cap off of mine, it scratched the bottle and a string of the black matte came off. Not cool. I normally like Nails Inc.’s brushes, but for some reason, this time it felt giant and unwieldy, although I compared the brush to another Nails Inc brush and it was the same. After 3 coats, mine still looked streaky. It wore really well, and looked very shiny with top coat, but it is not my favorite polish, and it should be reserved for use when I have a lot of time for careful application.

I think the hype and the wait (I liked it when it was first released) raised my expectations a bit too high. Lol.
The formula is very nice. The bottle is extremely luxe. It was opaque in two coats and it lasted four days without chipping. The name is misleading because it’s more pink than white. It’s similar to Essie Urban Jungle but UJ is cooler and more grey than pink.
I’m glad I have it but I don’t consider it to be a must-buy.

I have this in ‘Judo Red’ and it’s a gorgeous tomato red colour. The quality of this nail polish is the BEST i’ve encountered thus far. I have tried everything – Chanel, Tom Ford, OPI, Essie, etc. – and none of them hold up to this. This lasted at least 4 days on me without chipping! I was impressed because the others always chip on me within 24 hours. Not to mention, the polish is so opaque that i only need 1 coat if i’m in a rush but with 2 coats its perfect. Not to mention this dries so quickly which is a blessing! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this nail polish. Will try other colours in Nails Inc. Hopefully they’ll be the same quality as this VB edition.

Phew! This polish is very pricey at £25 a bottle (and I believe can only be bought from Nails Inc. online or at Harvey Nichols!), but it is my go-to polish at the moment for something that looks clean and chic on long or short nails, and lasts really really well.
It’s a very very pale pink (described as ‘bone’ in the Nails Inc. blurb) and is what I wanted OPIs Bubble Bath to look like. It’s not a jelly, it’s a cream, but the colour is so flattering.
It applies well, although I find I need three coats to look it’s best. It doesn’t pool at my cuticles or anything, it’s just quite thin. I don’t find this to be a problem however as I can get five days out of this polish easily. It wears really really well. I do normally use a base and topcoat – I have worn it without either and it still wears very very well. It’s easy to remove as well.
Although it doesn’t say it, this polish must be part of the Kale range as it has a particular smell to it. It doesn’t smell like nail polish, it smells very clean (for want of a better word!). Certainly not offensive at all.
The bottle is lovely, heavy and luxurious feeling. The lid pulls off so it’s easier to apply. Be wary if you have small nails though as the brush is very wide.
This was a splurge at the price, but I would definitely buy again and am thinking of purchasing as a gift for my sister. If you like nude or pale nails and are looking for inspiration, this is a really good option. It’s work and play appropriate – I love it!
