This is a gorgeous bright red with a lovely formula. It is super opaque w/o looking too creamy/flat (like Revlon Red if that makes sense), and I can get away with just one coat if I am careful. Lasting power is good and typical of Zoya polishes. The color can look a little pink-toned in certain lighting and then a little orange-toned in other lighting, so I can’t quite decide if it is cool/warm/neutral.

A while back I was on the hunt for a garden tomato red type of color, and after trying about 5 other polishes which were all too pink/neon against my skin, I found this. It’s a nice fresh, warm red for spring and summer, not unseasonably vampy but not too obnoxiously bright. I’m pale and it suits my complexion but I think it would look good against darker skin as well.

This is my current favorite red; It’s simply a bright, beautiful neutral cream red with no shimmer. I reach for this before anything else several times a week. Love the formula. Takes a bit of time to dry so I use it with Sinful Colors Quick Dry.

This is the quintessential red nail polish in my opinion. Creamy, glossy, and opaque in just a single coat (I like to do 2 since it’s still translucent). Zoya’s formula is great overall but with some of their cream polishes keep in mind that less is more, including this one!
One of my favorite polishes in my relatively huge collection of 100+. This polish never fails to make me feel glamorous. It reminds me of Old Hollywood, definitely! Very retro and classic 🙂

The color is SO beautiful and look exactly like it does in the bottle.
With only one coat, it was opaque! Lovely, lovely polish. It glides on so smoothly and it just looks gorgeous!
The red is bright and bold, which I actually like a lot!
This is also the longest wearing nail polish I own. It lasted me a whole week with almost no tip wear and NO CHIPS!!! (I had to take it off because my nail was growing)
Awesome nail polish from Zoya, as always!!

I like this polish; in general, zoya polishes have great formula and brushes, and I have never been disappointed with one.
This color specifically I bought to use for a 4th of July manicure, and instead ended up using a different polish that worked better for the red, so it didn’t work as I had hoped.
(I guess I expected too much from the name, lol)
However, it is a nice color, and I will use it. Just nothing special. 🙂

1 coat gives an opaque jelly-like finish.
2 coats gives a juicy creme finish.
I prefer 1 coat because nails look candy apple-like. Though, this is not a candy apple red.
This nail polish definitely looks retro… I imagine women running around with this polish on their nails in the 1940’s. If that sounds terribly old-fashioned to you, this nail polish might not be your cup of tea.
I agree with the 1st reviewer that this is a true medium red than leans warm (orange-red). If you want a jelly-like blue-red, get Butter London Come To Bed Red.

I am very pale and have had a lot of trouble finding the perfect red. This color compliments my skin wonderfully. It is very opaque and the wear time is great. This color is a very classic retro red. It has become a staple in my collection and my HG of red nail polish. This is perfect for cool skin tones

This is the perfect red! It looks really retro. Love the name too!

This is a bright, true red. My search for the perfect red nail polish is over! It is very opaque and goes on so smoothly. I only use one coat! I love Zoya in general because they are free of all the harmful chemicals that you find in regular nail polishes. Highly recommend!
