What you see in the bottle looks even better on the nails, whether it’s 1 sheer coat on bare nails or 2 coats layered over nude undies. The color is demure yet edgy, ethereal, divine, dreamy, and entirely lives up to its ‘Afterglow’ name. This is the perfect blue-tinge polish I’ve been looking for – reminds me of a similar polish I wore in middle school, so I’ve got this nostalgic retro vibe thing going on, but this color is mature & elegant. It’s joining my small collex of signature colors I’ve adored over the years & will certainly be buying backups. This adds glow to the fingertips & looks amazing with a summer tan (which I don’t do anymore). The shimmery iridescent color effect is simultaneously dainty and mesmerizing. I keep staring at it.

I have gone through 3 bottles of this in about a year. I have a HUGE nail polish collection (like 300+ bottles. I have a problem, I know) and out of all those colors, Afterglow is one of my top three all time favorite colors I always go to. it just looks so clean and fresh, makes my nails and fingers look a mile long, and has great staying power. its rare that I go more than a day or two without repainting my nails, but the few times I’ve had this color on for a few days, its lasted great with no chips (I use mostly Good To Go topcoat by Essie and sometimes Seche Vite) I love the flashes of blues and purples this gives off in different lights. a truly versatile and flattering color!

This is the first polish from China Glaze I have tried and I am pleased with it. The consistency was not too thin or too thick, and it went on evenly. It dried pretty quickly, and once dry, didn’t develop any air bubbles. It has a nice shine, but I did add a clear top coat for a little extra shine. Afterglow is a very pretty, sheer, iridescent pink. It’s kind of like the color of the inside of a shell. It is great on its own (about three coats, which is less than you need with most sheer polishes) or as a topcoat to add iridescence over other colors.

At first glance, this looks like your average pearly pink. It actually wears as a sheer pink with strong pale blue opalescence. Subtle on its own – it’s hardly noticeable until it catches the light, and then I look twice to be sure I saw something 🙂 Also a fun topper for other shades.

I was surprised at the number of comments saying they have seen a polish like this one!!
I just bought this today at Winners (only $5.99 CAD), and am in LOVE with it. It goes on pretty sheer to begin with, and I found even after 2 coats, didn’t completely cover the whites of my nails. So I decided to pair it overtop of my favourite nudey-pink Sally Hansen “Shell We Dance” and it looks AMAZING!!! It looks just like a normal light pink, but then it reflects the blue sheen to it, almost alien like. I plan to layer this on top of all nail polish- blues, greens, turquoises, magentas, reds- it will really look good over anything. I absolutely love it, it is a definite must have for anyone who loves nail polish.

This is basically OPI’s Altar Ego except with a pink base rather than a white one. It’s the exact same tinged-with-a-opalescent-blue-flash type of thing.
Consistency is good – nice and thin, drying time is short – and the blue is satisfyingly loud. No one could fail to notice it as you move your hands around. The pink background looks peachy pink which is no bad thing.
It would make a nice bridal manicure for a bride who wanted to show a bit of personality but still wanted a traditional look overall.
I got this on 8ty8 for like 2 dollars, and the bottle is quite substantial, so very good value for money there!

I love this!! It’s a sheer pink with blue iridescence. It’s not what I’d call “classy” but it’s definitely not tacky, either. It’s PRETTY!! Very cool color.

I like that you get to try 5 products and that they’re in a nice sleek compact. However I will say that although a little goes a long way, the pans are a little smaller than I’d like. It’s hard to get a fan brush to pick up product throughout the brush! I seem to only get product in the center of the brush and when I swipe back and forth I make a mess in the palette because the powders are soft and I’m rubbing the brush everywhere -_- Also, for ref I’m an NC35 in MAC and only the lightest shade can be a highlighter on me. The Rose gold one is simply too pink so I have to combine that one with a lighter one.. If you’re curious about trying becca Highlighting and blush powders and you’re a little darker than me (unless you plan on using most shades as blush), I think this would be a great try me palette.

Cute packaging but the pans are “surprisingly” teeny tiny! I agree w below reviewer that these are like the size of MAC e/s pans! Ridic for $39!! And it did make worth it to get a mini Opal GWP since I lost my Opal Xmas set that had a liquid & powder Opal so this was nice to get that! But this brand reminds me a bit of Hourglass the brand …becoz of the slick packaging & exorbitant price tag for a small amount of product. I already had Champagne Pop but I don’t know the net weights of products but the Champagne Pop sized products seem like a better “value” but i can see this lasting me maybe 6 mos but I spackle my face at least once somexs twice a day. I like that now I’ve got 5 of Becca’s most popular hi-liters (3 in palette, Opal GWP, & my Champagne Pop) & 2 blushes I woulda never ordered Becca blushes on my own volition so it was fun to try them!! Basically maybe initially I thought a bit gimmicky but indeed a quality pigmented dependable “solid” product u can rely on! I use a smaller brush to get precise placement actually a large eye blender from Clinique that is ancient so the bristles are a bit splayed/less dense (from using many years). I don’t want to waste any bits of this!

I was disappointed overall with my purchase of this palette. It is definitely a bargain to receive decent sizes of so many products for the price, but the palette is extremely delicate and the powders inside broke and were unable to be saved. ): I had been so excited to try the highlighters, but I felt as though they were pretty mediocre. I did LOVE the blushes included, however!

I can’t believe this would be the first entry on MUA for the Becca Afterglow! Anyway, I won’t fuss and I’ll keep this direct to the point.
PROS:
1. Amazing packaging. The metallic case is so shiny and lovely!
2. You get a deluxe size of five of Becca’s best sellers.
3. Contains 3 highlighters: moonstone, rose gold, and topaz.
4. Has 2 blushes: wild honey and flower child.
5. Packs on a lot of product.
6. A little goes a long way.
CONS:
1. Expensive
At first, I thought the pans are just too small. They come close to the size of MAC eye shadows–just slightly bigger. When I started using this, I realized the powders have great color payoff and a little goes a long way. So really, this could last your for at least a year if you use this on a daily basis. Since I don’t own other Becca products aside the much raved about Champagne Pop, this palette is a great way to experience Becca’s other best sellers. In my opinion, this is worth the splurge!

Ah, I love it… and I too have a thing for pink “opal” infused colors.
I’m wearing this to a military ball, so I don’t want it to be too full coverage… Sheer but not so sheer that you can’t see the pretty effects.

I was disappointed with this color. Although it looks so pretty in the bottle, it was way too sheer on. I used three coats and you can still see my nail underneath.

This might be like the 100th pink polish with a blue flash that I’ve bought. It has an exact dup in Misa Come and Get It, so if you own that, no need for this one. Overall, it is a sheer, medium pink polish, has sort of a jelly-like finish and a strong blue flash. The pink is pretty true, with no tendencies toward peach. It’s very pretty, just like all of its twin colors I’ve bought are. If you don’t own a polish in this color family, Afterglow is a good one to go with.
