Very pretty purple flashing green duochrome. The base if a mid tone reddish purple that flashes purple and green in the right lights. In really bright light you can also see green micro glitter in the mix.
As with most Zoya polishes, this applies like a dream. The texture is perfect and it applies very smoothly without being patchy or showing any brush strokes. Consistency is perfect as well, not too thick or too thin.
The first coat is quite sheer, but with a 2nd coat it becomes fully opaque offering full coverage.
This comes packaged in the standard Zoya bottle with the standard brush. Not innovative, but it works.
I purchased this during a recent Zoya promotional so I only paid $3.75 for Adina. A great bargain since Zoya polishes are now $10 per bottle. IMO they are worth $10 per bottle but who doesn’t love a bargain?
Though I like the application of this polish, it is a bit darker than I was hoping for so am not wild about the color on me. I would not repurchase because of my issue with the color, however, I did not deduct a lippie on overall rating because this is a high quality polish that applies like a dream. My issue with color has nothing to do with the overall quality.
Sometimes one of the pit falls of ordering online is that you don’t always get an accurate idea of the actual color in person.
I have and will purchase more Zoya polishes.
UPDATE: I got good wear from this polish. It finally broke down the 4th day but that wasn’t until after dishes, chopping veggies, and peeling potatoes.

I bought this color because I have a friend named Adina. Perfect reason right? But, its just not a flattering color for me. Its a purple base with a green flash in the duochrome. Its great for what it is, but its too cool a color for me.
Application was fine; it is a metallic so there will be streaks. But, for a metallic it wasn’t that streaky.
In the end my Adina went to my friend Adina. She loves it and it looks great on her. So buy again, sure. But not for my hands.

one word: Gorgeous! just like Nubar,Zoya knows how to make perfect duochromes either.I love every duochrome there is but those shimmery ones are the greatest ones since unlike glassflecks or any other finish, they look soft and truly edgy at the same.there are not so many perfect ones of those type.Adina’s color-shifting effect is very strong and always visible, unlike some polishes that require a serious lighting in order to show a poor duocolor.the application is nice,I actually expected to see some brush strokes but they hardly exist.it requires 3 coats to be opaque, but I wore this with a green cream base color( chanel khaki brun dupe) and it is still pretty much the same color.so if you want your 8$ bottle to last longer, you can always try that.like all the other Zoyas,it dries quickly, lasts a long week with minimum tip wear, and shines without a top coat.all time fav!

Such a unique colour to my collection. As others have said its purple/green/silver in all different lights. I have only worn it once so far (I have too many nail polishes to choose from lol) and I received so many compliments. My boyfriend absolutely loved the colour too. I don’t know if its just me but mine actually smelled kinda nice on my nails…
Anyway, I found that it dried super fast on my nails which can be good or bad depending on the person. It seemed opaque in two coats however when I went out in the light it seemed a little uneven in places -could just be my painting lol. As usual, Zoya is great quality and lasted me around 3-4 days.
I would definitely repurchase if I ran out. If you’re looking for something unique, Zoya is a great quality polish and you should definitely check Adina out.

I just had to upload a picture of “Adina” as it looks in the bottle, because the picture that someone uploaded of the polish on their fingernails doesn’t really do it justice. It’s hard to capture the metallic duo-chrome of this unique nail polish! If you google it, some people have managed to do a good job of capturing the unique purple and green combination. It’s such a fascinating colour. It flashes purple to green, depending on the lighting. Probably my favourite nail polish now.
Fun fact: Adina means “beautiful/adorned” in Hebrew. Very fitting!

I LOVE Adina …. it’s definitely an unusual color, and one that’s incredibly unique in my stash. Zoya doesn’t have a lot of duochromes, but this along with Ki are stellar winners in my stash.
Adina … it’s lavendar, it’s green, it’s silver … It’s so hard to tell because it flashes various colors depending on the lighting you’re in. It’s great on it’s own, and IME, even better for layering. Definitely a fabulous shade that I reach for often. Huge raves from me!

This is one of my all-time favorite colors, a soft grapey purple with tons of emerald green duochrome. The end result is a color that looks like a dragonfly wing — primarily purple in some lights and primarily silvery green in others. Two coats is great, and I bet three would be even better. Excellent long wear, too.

i’m really liking this color right now….one of the nicest duochromes i’ve seen in a while. its a very pretty medium lavender laced with a pink/green duochrome, green being the prominent top shade. in the bottle i see the silver when it flips but not so much on the nail. i have had no issues with drying time or the shape of the bottle whatsoever. this color went on like a dream. if i had taken a little more time applying i could’ve gotten unstreaked bottle color with two coats.
give it a try!

I had to buy this as soon as I found out about it because *my* name is Adina, and I figured a similarly named nail polish would have to be as beautiful. 😉 This color is a space-age silvery purple, nice but really not my taste. I like this to layer over other colors, though – do one coat of “Outta Bounds” by China Glaze under one coat of “Adina” and you get this amazing green mermaid shimmer.

Zoya’s Adina is a shimmery medium purple polish with a very heavy green duochrome flash/effect. In certain lights it can be iridescent green, in others a shimmery purple, and in still others there is a subtle pink flash. While this color is interesting, the mix of green and purple make it very muddy on my pale with slight yellow undertones complexion. The application on this was not the best as it was very gloopy with tip pulling (had to be thinned before I could continue); however, I did get complete opacity and bottle color in two coats. On the down side, it dried very, very slowly and even though I used a topcoat, the finish was very dull by day #2. I have noticed this dulling effect in other Zoya colors as well (specifically Deidra, Lexi, and Tess); I’m not sure if it’s because of the metallic finish of the ones I have tried so far. All in all, I don’t care for the muddiness of this color, the application, or the wear time so I would not buy this again.
