A List is a gorgeous crisp cool icy baby blue frost. This looks like chrome on my nails. I love this brushed metal finish.Yes, this is a frost complete with icy finish and brushstrokes. I don’t mind a few brushstrokes though as that is the nature of a frost. A good topcoat will make them less noticeable. I purchased a new Essie polish for summer called Classical Chic that made me think of this polish. I thought they were dupes so I put the Essie on one hand and this on the other. They are NOT dupes. This one is clear and crisp with color and it’s so pretty whereas the Essie has a yellow undertone making it look old and yellowed and not so pretty in comparison. I much prefer the crisp clean coolness of this Pure Ice polish and the formula is so much better too. This has a thick rich formula that is saturated with color. It is almost a one coater, but still has slight VNL so I like to apply 2 thin coats rather than once heavy one. This spreads on easily and stays put where you lay it down. It does not run, pool, or flood my cuticles with application. The brush on this is small thin and flexible and it makes polish application a breeze.I have had this bottle for about 3 years now and it’s halfway gone but still in fantastic condition and has not separated, thickened up, or faded. I do keep my polishes in a cool dark place and have a cabinet and closet dedicated for polish storage so they are kept in the dark away from the damaging sunlight. My bottle is about halfway gone now and I don’t know if this color is still in production, but if it is, I would definitely repurchase! This is so beautiful for summer and it’s such a cool icy color and perfect for these hot sizzling summer days. This would be perfect for winter too with it’s icy frosty sheen. This is simply a great all around polish and you can’t beat the price at less than $2! I think this Pure Ice brand is exclusive to Wal Mart as that is the only place I have ever seen it.

Love this color, a pale shimmery silverish-blue. Unfortunately, I have only been abled to find these nail polishes at Walmart in the USA. For about 2$ these are wonderful, a bit streaky but not as bad as most other polishes of similar colors. It lasts for quite a while with minimal tip wear after day 3.

It’s a pale blue metallic color. It reminds me of ice. A great winter color.
Pros:
-Great price ($2 at wal-mart).
-Pretty color. (You should do at least 2 coats to get an opaque color)
-Cubic bottle makes it easier to store
Cons:
-Streaky. (You can see the stroke marks)
-Each coat has to be completely dry before painting another coat. If the previous coat wasn’t completely dry, then the polish takes FOREVER to dry and easily smudges.

This is a light blue metallic shade, very nice. I tend to steer more towards the shimmery colors but I can see myself wearing this in the winter quite a bit. These Pure Ice polishes are great, very cheap and wear well. While I am no expert I would recommend this brand to anyone who likes polishes, you might be surprised!

A-list is the perfect go-to classic red. Just broke it out of the archives realizing Valentine’s day is around the corner, traditionally I like red for that day. Forgot how much I like this shade. Slightly blue toned, clear red, shiny, full coverage with two coats. A winner!

Perfect velvet cream red. A classic.

Surprised by how much I love this blue-toned classic red on my yellow-undertoned hands. I find I need three coats for an even application. Love how shiny it is. Prefer this now over OPI’s Quarter Cent Cherry.

A-list by Essie is a very vibrant red, slightly more blueish red than orange red but not by that much. It applies smoothly and without any streaking, bubbles, or balding spots. 2 coats give perfect coverage. This polish has lots of shine as well. I’d say it’s a creme/jelly because it goes on smooth and opaque like a creme but shines lie a jelly. I have quite a few red shades by Essie and a few by OPI as well and this is one of my favorites by far because the color is so flattering and formulas is so easy to work with. No wonder it’s an award winner.

I’ve wanted this polish for ages (probably going on 10 yrs!) but there has always seemed to be another color to try. I finally picked it up last week during a 2 for 1 sale, and I think I was pretty silly to have waited so long! It’s a beautiful medium-deep red creme, very rich and luscious looking on the nail. It applies really smoothly and requires two coats for full opacity. The red leans a little to the blue side, and since I usually gravitate to a more orange-y red (and because I have more red cremes than I will ever be able to use up), I will most likely not repurchase, but A-List is still a total winner. Very classic Hollywood, as the name implies.

Sexy, sophisticated and classy! This is the red that the old school movie sirens would have worn. Marilyn, Sophia & Ava. The classy gals like audrey & grace would have worn this as well. It truly is the holy grail of reds. Perfect color and shine. You won’t be able to stop looking at how elegant this makes your fingers look. I am utterly obsessed and have used this color for the last ten manis and pedis I have gotten. Yup it’s just that good that it deserves a repeat performance and a standing ovation! Bravo to essie on this one…

I love this red! I find it very easy to apply and it wears well with minimal tip wear. Although, I change my polish every 3-4 days, so that may not be the case for someone who is looking to wear it for a week or so.
