Jane Eyre came out in 2012 as a part of A-England Gothic Beauty Collection. It’s a dark polish with a red/purple shimmer. In the bottle it looks beautiful, but it doesn’t translate onto the nail. If you are looking for a vampy polish that might sparkle if the right light catches it, then you will like this polish. But, if it is the shimmer that attracted you to Jane Eyre (as was the case for me), then don’t bother – you can’t see enough of it.
The formula is good. I used 2 coats, which applied well and gave me full opacity. It lasted well on me too. Overall, the formula is good (something most of my A-England polishes have in common), but I just didn’t care for this shade/finish with its lack of shimmer on the nail.
