Super smooth and even jelly-like formula. Deep wine color. Opaque and two coats but I probably could have gotten away with one.
It’s a little dark for my very light skin but I still think it’s pretty. It would look really nice with a little black dress. I think you could probably call this a vampy color. Dries pretty quickly and is super glossy and shiny. Since it was so glossy, it actually hid a lot of imperfections in my nails, (like ridges) and really smoothed them out. That, I was impressed with.
Found this at the dollar store 🙂 from wet n wild’s “one step wonder gel” line. It’s not a true gel, it’s just a gimmicky regular old nail polish. Lasts about three to five days like all nail polishes do with me before it starts chipping up. Usually around the thumbs first.
A little bit messy to clean up but that’s to be expected with these jelly-like reds. It also stained my top coat brush as I thought it would. I used base coat and top coat with this, same as I would with typical nail polishes.
I wouldn’t purchase it again, because I think it’s too dark for me and I have a love-hate relationship with jellyish reds. For a dollar, though, I have no regrets 🙂
