I lost this palette randomly and bought again! The colors are so pigmented and diverse.
This palette contains three tints: Shoya, Chanel, and MAC. I didn’t love all of the Toneshoes. I looked up the colors. They were all pretty.
So, despite the tonewood, this palette is definitely a BETTER version of the Red 6 & Pink palette. I can’t wait to find out how you feel about it and how I feel about using these additions.

Ideal palette for all skin tones. Some shimmer some matte. definitely can create a wicked Smokey eye look. Also a fabulous neutral look. For a night out shimmer me up. I don’t use the blue because blue just looks horrid on me. I would recommend using a urban decay applicator. Since I love there eyeshadow too . I just borrowed it from there palette. I apply my shadow gently and layer lightly. I generally blend two or three colors that are similar in tones. To me eyeshadow can make you look older if not applied correctly.

When I had a bit more money to spend on make up I bought this palette. I am VERY happy with it. You get a lot of shades for your money, I think the size is perfect, its not to large to be inconvenient. There are a few matte shades as well as shimmer. It’s well pigmented which is great, and blends well.
My criticism would be, depending on the brush, the power does end up on my nose. But that’s me being over vigorous with my strokes. The lighter sades in the palette don’t last as long on the eye as the darker ones.
I don’t use any other product on my eyes, and haven’t felt the need to in a while. This is great for every day use.

this is honestly some of the best eye shadows that I’ve ever used. they blend seamlessly and the color payoff is gorgeous. I also love that the neutrals don’t show up orange on my super pale skin. the jewel tones are beautiful as well! definitely my favorite palette that i own and the packaging is almost reminiscent of a kat von d design!

I used this over a neutral toned Maybelline color tattoo. After applying I took a walk for a little over 3 1/2 miles right before a 2 1/2 hr rehearsal. I’m mentioning this because after reading other reviews I expected it all to be gone by the time I got to rehearsal. I didn’t really see any color fade until midnight. Pretty impressive. While some of the shades have some trouble with fallout I find if I just tap my brush once or twice first it isn’t a problem. I’ve been able to do several smokey eyes in brown, taupe and blue as well as a very neutral/natural eye. What I was most excited about was how many great dupes they had for MAC. My first thoughts were, “Hey! That looks like All That Glitters, and Naked Lunch, and Contrast, and Amber Lights, and Omega, Cork, Malt, Vanilla, Black Tied, Satin Taupe, Carbon, Sketch, Plumage, Humid, Nylon…” You get the picture. I carry it around in my purse a lot and so far it holds together well and doesn’t fall open. The mirror inside is also great since it’s large enough to see your whole face.

I must of gotten lucky compared to some of these reviews. I absolutely love this palette. I use it every day to do a very relaxed cool tone brown smokey eye. I’ve never had a creasing issue when I use the nyx HD eyeshadow primer and set the prime with my face powder before hand. the color pay off on every shadow is really beautiful but that might also be because I’m really pale. the only downside I’d have to say I found, was how small this palette is. I was expecting it to be a bit bigger than it was. it’s about half the size of my wallet lol. I would totally buy this again just for the matte brown shades alone since I haven’t really gotten to play with the shimmer shades yet. over all the quality is really great I think.

Very disappointing results from a palette with such diverse colours. Usually I love the quality of nyx for the price point but most of the shadows in this palette are a let down both in colour pay-off and texture. They’re some of the chalkiest shadows I’ve ever tried and just not pigmented enough to justify the purchase. Staying power is poor and only slightly improved with a primer. NYX Milk only ups the impact marginally, but if you are going to buy this palette be sure to pick up milk jumbo pencil as well because you’ll be needing it.
Best (for pigment and texture):
Top row – shimmery brown, olive
2nd row – black (applies muted), copper, shimmery dark blue (it looks shimmery in pan but not applied), lemon (applies OK but doesn’t last at all).
3rd row – shimmers are OK, so is the pigment of royal blue but it’s powdery.
Worst:
Top row – both matte browns, merlot, silver
2nd row – all of the mattes are duds.
3rd row – taupes, browns and grey

This product is horrible the colors did not swatch and they are very chalky. No matter what type of eyeshadow base I use the color payoff was no good. I would never purchase this palette again or even give it away to someone that I think that use it because the colors do not show up and the staying power is minimal.

Overall, I am quite happy with this palette, there are a great selection of colors, both shimmery and matte, cool and warm tones, and a variety of neutrals and brighter, jewel tones, as well as deep colors for an evening look. Some of the shadows, such as the shimmery bronze brown, the shimmery champagne/pink and the light gold/white highlight shade are super pigmented, and some shades such as the bright blue, the pastel orange and the deep purple, are less pigmented. When I want these shadows to show up more I simply put down a cream shadow base, such as NYX jumbo pencil in milk, over top of a primer. The texture of these shadows is buttery soft, and they have very little fallout, and seem to blend quite nicely. The staying power of these shadows are relatively good, especially when used in conjunction with a primer.
I particularly like the packaging: Its simple but elegant, and much more robust than the typical packaging that comes with the less expensive products (maybelline, covergirl, etc.) I also like that a mirror is included. Overall, I get most of my use out of the neutral shadows in this palette, and less use out of the colored shadows (which are less pigmented) I would definitely reccomend this to anyone who likes using neutrals.

I bought this palette because it has some beautiful shades, plus it was only $15. I expected more from this palette because it’s soo pretty. The most beautiful shades aren’t pigmented enough for my brown skin. This palette contains three beautiful shades of blue, a shimmery deep blue, a matte medium blue and a pastel blue. A gorgeous green frost, a light, medium, and a dark brown frost, four matte brown shades,a gold frost, a matte pink and a matte purple, taupe, pastel orange, three cream/ beige colors that work wonderfully as highlighters an a black. Beautiful colors. I recently purchased a paint pot from MAC and I have some Too Faced Shadow Insurance Anti Crease Eyeshadow Primer and some good brushes and I am going to try to make some of these pretty shades work. All in All I can’t stress how beautiful the shades are , but if you want more of a color payoff you are going to have to manipulate these shadows.
