This palette is hit or miss. There are some wonderful buttery shades I would expect from lorac. There’s also some not so wonderful, gritty shades. Not an awful product but I expect more from lorac.

Beautiful, rich, creamy and long lasting. The shades are so flattering on my warm NC30/35 skin tone. I prefer this formula over the LORAC pro palette and find that these shadows last longer than the pro palette. I don’t use primer and these shadows adhere nicely to the skin and last all day on me. I only gave it 2 lippies for packaging because while it is sleek, I am not a fan of cardboard packaging. I prefer plastic or metal cases.

I am not a huge fan of this. The coppery gold, the dark brown with shimmer, and the matte light color are very nice, but other than that, the shades here don’t work on me. The lighter shimmers are all very very frosty on me and go on kind of chunky, and with primer they settle into my fine lines. The colors are also kind of similar. The matte browns are very similar to each other and look the same on my eyes. The dark colors are nice as liners on me, but are very dupeable.

I just don’t think these shadows have the LORAC quality I am used to. It is actually difficult to use these. I like the idea of a gold themed palette, but the quality of the first unzipped blows this out of the water.
