LOVE the packaging but didn’t like the eyeshadows because theywerent pigmented enough and dont like lip parts. im not a huge fan of lip products… luckily i got this as a gift but i couldnt return it though….

This palette has 4 eyeshadows (goldish/beige, medium brown, lilac, and rose), 2 lipsticks, 2 (very sparkly) lip glosses, and a blusher.
Originally, I was very disappointed in this palette. The eyeshadow colors looked way too light, the lipglosses were over-the-top sparkly, and the lip colors did NOT work for me. But, after using the eyeshadows a few times, I find myself reaching for this collection more and more! The eyeshadow colors are subtle, but buildable, with just the right amount of light shimmer to them, which allow you to create long-wearing, sophisticated looks. The quality of the eyeshadow is outstanding and the lasting power is unparalleled. The packaging is lightweight for travel.
That said, I would not re-purchase this specific because I really only use the shadows. (I will consider purchasing other Chanel eyeshadows now, though.) Maybe I’ll fall in love with the rest of the pallet later, but it’s doubtful.

I bought this palette on the plane in a fit of long-distance flight ennui. I actually like the colours in here, except for the lip glosses. They are too sparkly, especially the pink one. The eye shadows all work well together, and with all but the darkest colour, if you mess it up a little no one would really notice. Both blush colors look good on me (very pale, blue eyes, blondish brown hair), but when combined with the lip glosses as suggested, they didn’t look very good. The compact comes with a giant mirror inside which is nice, but it gets dirty quickly. Also included are a lip brush which is hard to use because it’s so small, and an eyeshadow applicator. I dropped the compact and the casing broke, which left me disappointed as I didn’t throw it out my third story balcony or anything. The colours are very neutral and seem to go for more of a natural look, and I would tend to use something more dramatic for the night time.
My biggest disappointment though, was the lack of staying power with any of the makeup in the palette, which is why I gave it a 3. The blush seems to last longer, but the eyeshadow and lip gloss hardly stays on at all. I don’t use a lid primer, so that may possibly help with the eyeshadow part. But for the price and the name, I expected a longer-lasting product. I have makeup from the drugstore that lasts longer.

I got this palette from Bangkok Duty Free Shop. I use deep colors as lip colors amd top with lip glosses The 4 eye shadows are wearable for everyday life. I tralvel a lot so this palette is worth the money for me. I will buy it again for a reserve if I find it anywhere again.

The eyeshadows – They are very basic, easy to use colours consisting of light brown, dark brown, nude pink and pearly white. I alternate between the light/dark combo for day and night whenever I travel and layer the white shade on top of the pink as a highlighter.
The creme blushes/lip colours – I use these as blushes only because they’re too drying on the lips. My favourite is the magenta one as I find the orange blush too garish.
The glosses – These are great, with minimum shimmer and colouring bordering on clear, they can be used either alone or to coat the lip creme.
I wouldn’t buy this again because I know I could get a full palette complete with mascara, face powder and more from other brands for less the price. I’m a huge Chanel fan but this one just fell flat.

The glosses are pretty enough, but the blush-creme thingamabobs are too dry and drag on the skin. This is good only in that it won’t make your skin super-greasy, but it’s quite difficult to blend, and since both colors are so pigmented, it’s easy to end up with blotchy-looking skin. The colors are quite pretty, though, and the four eyeshadows are basic, well-pigmented shades. Nothing too exciting. All in all, you get a decent deal for decent products, but if I hadn’t received this as a gift I never would’ve bought it. I would’ve gone and gotten some MAC instead 🙂

I love this palette! I got it on a flight to Asia (love duty-free) so the price was well worth it for 4 Chanel e/s, 2 glosses, and 2 powder/cream pigments (I assume they are for lip and cheek). The e/s colors are neutral – the white/gold is an awesome highlighter and the other three colors are perfect for blending into a natural taupe or smokey eye effect. Fantastic basic colors. The glosses are very sheer and feel more like lip balm. Layered on top of the pigments, they let you play with the different effects of either pink or gold overtones. I really like the pigment texture as well. I’ve only tried the blue-ish red and it came out fantastic on my lips – I usually will never go near anything red! Everything feels light on the skin, not cakey at all. The case comes with two applicators, neither of which I’ve tried using. I’m sure I will one day, if I ever get stuck somewhere with just this compact and nothing else. Overall, this collection is fantastic. Get it if you can!

This palette of eight colors is available at airports and on flights. It consists of 4 e/s: white/gold duochrome, gold/rose duochrome, mid brown, dark brown. and 4 lips/cheek colors: light pink gloss, gold gloss, bluish red and slightly brownish red. There’s a pic in my gallery.
The dark e/s are very pigmented, so don’t take too much at a time. The other 2 are more shimmery (fine shimmer, no chunky glitter) than colored. The rosey color almost doesn’t show up on my NC20-15 skin. The white/gold makes a fantastic highlighter. Over all, those 4 e/s are pretty neutrals that are good to have, I also use the lightest color on my nose to contour.
The 2 glosses for lips don’t show much color, they’re more like lipbalm with shimmer. You won’t get much color from them neither, the pink has white shimmer and the gold slightly larger goldparticles.
The bluish red gives a fantastic flush to cheeks, it is a cream texture. On lips it’s not very intensive. The other applies kinda brick red, lovely if you wear olive colored eye shadow, brownish colors.
The palette comes with a velvet pouch and 1 applicator and 1 brush. Those are ok, but I would invest in real brushes though.
I give the product only 4 lippies because of the 2 glosses, that are kinda like (cheap) lipbalm. It costed 41US$ on my flight (5% off) so it’s pretty good for a Chanel item, considering you’re getting 8 colors, 4 e/s which are neutral and basic staples. I think I would buy it again if it was still available if I ran out. Just because I like the white/gold and the bluish red and the other colors are also wearable for everyday life (travelling).
