I erased my original review because after having this for a couple of weeks, I have to say that I’m not as thrilled. The lipglosses are nice, but if you can’t take them with you, what’s the point? The highlighter is really nice (probably the best thing in the case) and I use that every day. The blushes are useful because I normally wouldn’t buy so many bright colors and it’s good to experiment (although they’re not very pigmented). The bronzer? WTH?? This was one of the main reasons I bought the palette and I’m very disappointed. This is not the same quality as the Park Avenue Princess purchased separately. This BARELY shows up on my skin – although the color is still nice. This alone was enough to turn me off, but I’m also disappointed in the eyeshadows. They looked nice when I swatched them, but when I had a big night and wanted to look really nice they were a DISASTER! The colors didn’t blend well at all and looked so harsh. I ended up having to wash off my eyeshadow while trying not to disturb the rest of my face. Yuck. If I can find the receipt I’ll probably return….

Ok…this product is seriously amazing! Seriously. I can’t even believe the people in the makeup board who hate on this product. They say it moves around so much…well…let’s see here, it says it’s a vanity, so what are you supposed to do with vanities…place them down on a flat surface for one. Mmkay. Eyeshadows chalky? OMG. So. Not. True. I am no makeup expert, but the first time I tested the colors on this, it was love at first sight, seriously. Very far from being chalky. You want chalky, try Maybelline, Covergirl, or some of my Too Faced palettes…yes, I said Too faced…they are chalky as all hell. Okk…back on subject here…so the eyeshadows are amazing. You get 16 of them, lip colors…also 16 of them, and some of the very best as far as palette lip colors are concerned. I should know, I’ve had at least 10 palettes in my life time, yes…10…so maybe I am some sort of expert on palettes. These are creamy, and easy to put on! Yes! Next layer…a luminizer which I haven’t tried yet but looks fantastic, a bronzer, 4 blush colors, and out of the two I’ve tried, I absolutely LOVE them. LOVE them!! And…if that wasn’t all…you get a concealer brush, yes they say it’s an eyeshadow brush…but look closely…it’s a concealer brush. Very good quality, and it also looks like an eyeliner brush for the other one. For the price of $52, I’d highly suggest you pick this up, or request this for Christmas…it’s fab!

Holy S*** balls! This is amazing. Just from a selection standpoint alone, there’s nothing like this palette in terms of selection, amount of product, quality AND price. It’s worth $52 just for the 16 eyeshadows alone. I think the only way this could be better is if you could pop out the lipstick/lipgloss tray and carry it with you, this palette is too big and bulky to carry around for re-application purposes. But this will be my only buy this season, and it’s SO worth it. First Tarte E/S purchase and I’m loving it. Plus the blushes, bronzer and highlighter are all very wearable on most skin types and are close to full size. LOVE!
