I am tan skinned and dark brown eyes. this was the first abh eyeshadow I’ve tried. Loved the formula and color selection for me. I use it almost every day. wish it wasn’t limited edition! Only a TINY BIT powdery but the pigmentation and blendability make it worth it.
Tamanna did an awesome job. If I hit pan on certain shades I might have to purchase singles.

This was my first Anastasia palette and is really my favorite. I feel like this one doesn’t get as much love that the Amerzy palette gets which I also own. I adore Sangria since I love burgundy shades and I feel this palette works well for my dark brown eyes & NC30 skintone.

An OK palette. I bought it for the burgundy and metallic neutral shades, but I then realized that these are all pretty easily dupeable for less $$$. The quality of the shadows is nice but nothing special – pigmented, but a little chalky. I prefer a looser texture. I like that they included two midtone taupe and bronze shades, because those are what I tend to go for when I’m doing everyday makeup, but it’s nothing that can’t be replicated or replaced altogether with something nicer and/or cheaper.
I don’t really reach for this palette on a daily basis (normally it’s a Lorac Pro or, lately, the Smashbox Cherry Smoke palette, for the burgundies and taupes).
The blue-green shade is lovely in the pan but, as a previous reviewer stated, it’s not very workable and even on my pale skin it doesn’t show up well unless used over a light, sticky primer like NYX Milk or MAC Painterly. Same for China Rose, which looks stunning but falls a bit flat on application.
It’s fine, but nothing to write home about.

Great palette for a great price!
Shadows – Overall, the colors are soft, blendable, and pigmented. Really, everything you’d want in an eye shadow.
Favorite colors:
– China Rose (light shimmery orangey, still very wearable)
– Bengal (warm orange/brown w/ a very subtle satin finish, great transition shade)
– Gilded (bronze, extremely pigmented!)
Worst colors:
– Venezia (shimmery light blue) — I have a really difficult time getting this color to show up on my skin. Unless you have a white base underneath, it’s going to look whiter and less blue than in the pan. It’s also quite stiff and prone to fading.
– Custom (shimmery taupey purple) — I still use this color frequently. It’s not as bad as Venezia but I had similar issues with it looking true to pan, fading, and it is also very stiff.
My biggest pet peeve (and the reason for four stars) is lack of matte transition shades. I end up using Bengal as my transition color every single time.
Packing – Light cardboard packaging. I have not used the included brush but it seems soft enough. Instead of a mirror there’s a reflective mirror-like paper. Not exactly luxury packaging but it does the job.
Price – $29 is a steal for the quality and diversity of shadows you are getting here. There isn’t a palette that directly dupes these colors, unless you consider the Vice 3. But that’s double the price and the quality of the shadows are inconsistent. (By comparison, Too Faced eye palettes are $36 and their shadows are much stiffer, powdery, and prone to fallout.)
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a colorful palette at an affordable price.

It is such a beautiful palette and has a great assortment of shades. The Sangria, Fresh and Chocolate shades are everything. It was a bit of a splurge but definitely worth it.

I really like this eye shadow palette. It was my first product from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brand ( I received it as a birthday gift) and I loved the color selection. You could do a lot of different combinations and they were very wearable for everyday use or outings (unlike other palettes, like UD Electric palette). The packaging felt a little cheap to me, but that’s a personal complaint. I liked that it brought little cards with step by step instructions on eye looks, very helpful.
The reason I selected that I would not repurchase isn’t because of the quality of the makeup or anything, it’s because I never repurchase eye shadow palettes. It’s a personal thing. I don’t usually buy single pots of eye shadow either, I really only buy palettes, so I have no need to repurchase them being that I usually have several different ones at a time. But I do recommend this palette, if its even available still.

I’m SE asian with a neutral undertones. I find this palette suited my skintone very well. Highly pigmented and buttery. One of my best purchased.

I love Anastasia’s makeup products, so when this palette came out I HAD to buy it. It features some great basic colours (some are matte and some are sheer) with good pigmentation that you can mix and match to create your own beautiful eye look. I like the packaging and the little brush that comes with it as well. Definitely a palette that I will use for a while.

I was kind of hesitant about getting this palette because the last time I tried an Anastasia product (the dipbrow pomade) I really disliked it (and ended up with painful cystic pimples in my eyebrows- not fun). But the colors won me over, and I don’t have any color close to China Rose. I’m very glad I ended up buying this. The colors are beautiful, the shadows are very finely milled and extremely high-quality, and the little instruction cards that come with it are very helpful and easy to follow. Also, the packaging is lovely- like an Indian sari.

i recently just purchased this palette and i LOVE it. i was debating between this or the vice3 and got this instead. i’m so glad i did! i wanted the vice3 just for the shade “sonic” but “sangria” from this palette fulfills that desire.
the shadows are all so gorgeous and swatch beautifully. they’re extremely blendable and so versatile. they’re so highly pigmented and buttery.
