I Love the packaging, originally I was going to sell it but its unique and long discontinued. I need to make a full eye with this, but I LOVE love love Swish!

This was my first palette and I was drawn to it because I *love* cool colors, especially pink. I especially love Summerweight as a highlight… it’s a lustre so it’s kind of like chunks of glitter, but I actually like that (other people might not). Printemps is pretty useless for anything other than a base. I adore Swish… if this ever runs out, I will definitely purchase it in pot-form. Well-finished and Tailored are pretty as well, but I find I don’t use them as much. Print is okay but it has a pretty poor color pay-off on me. I’d prefer it if it were less grey and more black, but I guess that’s what it’s supposed to be – it just looks bad on me! I probably wouldn’t repurchase just because I don’t use most of the colors, but it’s a nice little palette.

To be honest, I completely hated this palette for the longest time. I suck at purples/cool colors and by suck, I mean I sssuuuccckkk! But I guess I kind of sort of made this palette work the other night. I used the neutral matte taupe-ish tan Printemp as a base since it has poor color payoff and is useless otherwise. Then attempt to pack on some Well-Finished – a bluish lavender, but its ultimate to no avail since the color is just so typically a Lustre – gritty with no staying power. So that leaves me with the beautifully frosty true pink Swish to layer over that. And I use Tailored, which has to be the most beautiful color in this palette – a richly pigmented and smooth deep indigo bordering on violet Veluxe Pearl – on the outer corners with a touch of Print – a dark dark richly-colored dark grey. Summerweight, another chalky gritty Lustre, is okay as a pinkish lilac, very sparkly highlight. Actually I think Summerweight is overkill since I have to use Visine to make it stick and it just looks excessively glittery as a highlight, but oh well, what’s a girl to do? So basically I think I do like this palette and I may reach for it occasionally, but it’s by no means a favorite. The packaging is a bit tacky, but yet kind of cute. Of course I do like the mirrored case and the nicely constructed mini-brush. I would repurchase simply because I love MAC palettes.

This palette came with 6 shadows…this is how I would personally describe them:
Summerweight(l)-really light silvery lilac.
Printemp(vx)-very light, matte, powdery mauve-ish grey
Swish(f)-nice shimmery cool-toned pink
Well Finished(l)-glittery lavender
Tailored(vp)-deep iridescent indigo
Print(s)-a nice standard grey
Overall I was pretty impressed with the palette. I especially liked Summerweight, Well Finished, and Tailored. I wasn’t overly excited about Printemp, and Swish and Print are both permanent colours already. I thought the outside black and white fabric design on this was pretty cute. I would buy again.

Right off the bat I noticed the quality of the Cool Eyes Tailormade palette is much better than the Warm eyes. Tailormade palette were released July 2005 for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Cool Eyes contains: Summerweight – light shimmery silvery pink with glitter(Lustre); Printemps – matte light grey with mauve undertones (Veluxe) This color is the only one that isnt really pigmented; Swish – shimmery medium pearly pink (Frost); Well Finished – light purple with silvery shimmer, gorgeous(Lustre); Tailored – shimmery deep bright navy (Veluxe Pearl) and Print – dark grey almost black(Satin).
THe palette retails for $33 and comes in a black case and the top is black and white fabric, which i can see getting dirty. The colors work well together for alot of different eye looks. Overall, I am very happy with this palette and would repurchase.

Consists of the following colors:
Summerweight – pale iridescent lilac pink with silver frost (Lustre)
Printemps – matte light/medium muted mauve (Veluxe)
Swish – shimmery cool medium pearly pink (Frost)
Well Finished – medium lavender with silver sparkles (Lustre)
Tailored – shimmery deep purply blue (Veluxe Pearl)
Print – charcoal with very subtle silver shimmer (Satin)
This is a pretty set of colors put together, but nothing to go crazy over. Summerweight didn’t adhere to my skin all that well, and Printemps is very similar to MAC Velour but just a tiny bit less rose-toned and a touch more lavender. Well Finished is somewhat similar to Amethyst (from the Adorn collection) but less blue-toned and more lilac. As for Tailored, I found that layering Whim over Contrast produced a very similar color.
The packaging is utterly hideous, IMO – probably the worst I’ve seen from MAC.
Overall, not worth the $43 CDN I paid for this.

This is a review for MAC Tailormade (NOT Tailormad.. lol :P) 6 Cool Eyes palette. Shades include: Summerweight (L), Printempts (VX), Swish (F), Well-Finished (L), Tailored (VP), Print (S) – all of which are shimmery or glittery except Printempts, which is matte.
Although the shades are cool, with the right combination, they could work with any skintone. In fact, I’m very warm myself (MAC C3-4, JI Golden Glow), & I love this palette. Swish (F) – a frosty blue tone pink – is the only one that I would suggest NOT wearing by itself for warm skintone girls like myself. It makes me look bruised & tired, however when used lightly & in combination with Well-Finished (L – medium lavender purple with fine silver glitter) & Tailored (VP – beautiful midnight purplish blue with sheen) looks lovely.
Imho, Well-Finished & Tailored are the highlights of this palette. My only complaint is that the #213 brush included is too tiny for it to be useful, but otherwise everthing is just perfect. Lovely tweed fabric & black metal packaging, inside mirror, & credit card sized all make this palette worth every penny! US$33/CAD$43.

This is TOOO cute! A very chic little palette of 6 delectable MAC cool shadows. Summerweight: a shimmery light pink (not frosty/pastelish, shimmer),
Printemps: a neutral matte mocha-ish, swish: shimmery pigmented deeper pink-rose, Well-Finished: a shimmery mid purple, Tailored: a softly shimmery “sapphire”
blue, the color of the oceans off the Isles in Greece (from tv, never been there yet) and Print: nice deep gray. I don’t care much for the fabric covering on top because I am messy and it will be messed up soon…but it has a brush and of course mirror, heavy duty metal case, and it is perfectly portable. Smaller than holiday eye palettes, but I have been packing TONS of shadows, even my 15 pan cause carrying a big tote, but now I can carry this little baby in a small bag, even a pocket! I actually may go buy one more tomorrow.
UPDATE: I am regretting this purchase. The compact is SO small, at .19 total oz it’s a little over .3 for each shadow, this won’t last long. Plus, the Tailored looked like a deep marine blue, it is a deep PURPLE blue. I’m not into purplish shadows right now, so 2 shadows I won’t use (at least for awhile), that and Well Finished. Or, I could go buy the Cool lips, I have no lipcolors that go with purple. After spending over $100 for Tailormade and some other products, not doing that right now. I would NOT repurchase.
