I bought this because I didn’t have an all matte palette. I wanted it to along with other palettes with no matte neutrals (like Urban Decays Electric palette).
Unfortunately, I didn’t like this at all. It wasn’t that pigmented and it was powdery. I wasn’t impressed by the formula at all. This is actually the first Makeup Revolution palette I’ve tried and I wonder if the shimmers are better quality…
This was a miss for me. If you want affordable matte shadows I’ve had better luck with Milani shadows.

I wouldn’t repurchase this myself. But I could see how those new to makeup or wanting to experiment might like these. Over all I think it’s okay at best. The shimmer shades are nice while the mattes lacking in pigment. It’s there though. Just not Wet n Wild color pay off.
I personally like the more squared pans of the I heart chocolate and the Iconic Pro 2. Those have great color pay off for matte shades

Forget that it’s a dupe for the naked palettes but this palette does wonders!!! Pros: SUPER Pigmented, Mattes and shimmers and satins, color variety, build able, amazing price, great investment. CONS: some do have fallout of extra product, if you hate cleaning up eyeshadow after applying to you’re eyelid then it transferring to your face you’re probably going to need like a tool to have under you’re eye (: Basically 5/5 just gave it 4/5 because of fallout.

I just love coming across hidden treasures and this is one brand that I will be looking to purchase more products. I originally came across this brand about a year ago after reading about them on a blog. I didn’t pull the trigger and order anything after having read here on MUA that another reviewer had a bad reaction to their products. I thought that in order to make the shipping from England worthwhile I needed to order multiple items but didn’t want to get stuck with cheap make-up that irritated my eyes.
Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago when I noticed that Ulta is now selling this brand on-line only. I had an order for some other items and dropped a couple of these palettes in my cart, not giving it too much thought. I knew that if I had an issue with the quality that my local store would give me a refund, no questions asked.
Let me just say that this brand is showing a LOT of promise. I started with the Matte Essential palette and for $7 this thing is huge, the palette has 12 pans that are long and skinny but do contain a lot of product. I was shocked at how big this is, far bigger than UD palettes. The palette contains a pretty even split of warm/cool tones and are pretty neutral in color, nothing loud or hard to work with. I have found the shadows to be well pigmented, smooth in texture and they blend nicely. For $7 a pop, I am going to order all the other Redemption palettes before Ulta drops the brand and will go ahead and set-up an account with the brand direct to order items that are not being carried by Ulta.
