I really like this, but I didn’t always. I don’t have a use for it as an eyeshadow, none of the colors really work for me in that aspect. BUT I LOVE it as an eyebrow powder. I use the small end of the brush and use the dark brown shade, it’s almost a perfect match. Glad I found a purpose for this besides it just being awesome to look at and own. Pulp Fiction has been a favorite film of mine for years.

I wasn’t interested in this palette when it first came out. It caught my eye when it went on sale for $16. I thought it would be like UD naked basics- a small palette with everyday neutral essentials (crease color, highlight, ect).
But when I got it I wasn’t too impressed. The worst problem was how powdery the shadows were. I’ve used a lot of eye shadows. Cheap, expensive, matte, glitter, shimmer ect. but I can’t recall ever getting this much fallout before! You can tap off your brush before applying to help minimize fallout.
The second issue was there wasn’t really a good crease shade for me. Tyranny was too dark. (For reference I like shades like UD Naked or UD laced in the crease.) I tried to use it in my brows but the color was too warm.
I did like the split pan. Both the shimmery white and the black were nice. The tiny brush it came with was super cute and soft. But I did not reach for this. I gave it to my sister. She agrees about it being powdery but she likes it. I would have skipped this one if I would have swatched in store.

I’m late to the party with this review. I admit, I bought an extra when the palette went on sale, only because I love the movie and I love the quote on this package. I have never opened it, primarily because I love the movie a lot more than i love the palette. In my experience both Tyranny and Vengeance are “grabby” and hard to blend, thus loooking very patchy on the eye. I get the same result with or without primer, regardless of whether or not I put Righteous down as a base. Vengeance especially. Righteous is great otherwise and I’ve hit pan on it. I also like furious as a soft black powder liner. I tried everything I could think of because this palette looked like perfection for me, , but as much as I wanted to love it, I really just don’t. I may ebay the unopened extra one

Love this palette! So sad it was a limited edition. Great for everyday use and colours blend really well. Knocked a lippy off due to the packaging which is way too big and bulky. Urban decay should so bring this out as a permanent palette with better packaging.

I was super excited to get this on sale a while back and finally got around to using it. I absolutely LOVE this palette (although I am partial to anything Quinton Tarantino related). The colors and almost matte textures work so well together for the perfect neutral smokey eye. The shadows are great UD quality: smooth, blendable, and long-wearing (even the matte ones on my greasy Asian hooded eyes). I do notice some fading, but is pretty darn crease-resistant on primed clean lids. The brown shades are very soft and the brush tends to kick up a bit of shadow, so you have to be gentle. The one thing I would change about this palette is the packaging. The packaging is pretty bulky compared to the relatively small size of the shadows so there is a lot of wasted space; I would have preferred something more compact and sturdy to make this the ultimate travel palette. I’m sad this was limited edition and is no longer in production, but if you ever come across one and are in need of a wonderful neutral palette, get it! Of the palettes I own, the only one which would possibly beat this is the Viseart Neutral Matte palette.
UPDATE: Removed one lippies; I’ve since had issues with fading and creasing even with UDPP =(

The packaging is cute. I love the applicator. The mirror is nice & big enough to see as you apply your eye-shadow. My favorite color would have to be righteous. A frosty white. I use it in the inner corner of my eyes to brighten up my look. Tiffany & vengeance are browns. I don’t care for them. They flake & aren’t dark enough. I use Anger. A brow highlighter. It’s translucent but can build to a heavier color if desired. I don’t care for furious, a regular black shadow. It just doesn’t build up. I rate this product an overall 4. I just wish the other 3 colors lived up to my standards the way the whites did.

I bought this palette for $16, so my review is consistent with what I paid. I really like this palette, and brought it with me when I traveled to my stepdaughter’s bat mitzvah. The packaging is cardboard and a little bit too large for travel, but it still worked well. The eyeshadows are very neutral and pretty, but I wish there was a warmer, rustier brown. Most of the shadows also had a fair amount of fallout. I used the brow bone highlighter (Furious) as a face highlighter in a pinch and it worked really well.

This is my absolute favorite out of the Urban Decay shadows. I always wear smokey browns on my eyes & I honestly feel this palette was made for my. I especially love any browns with a sandy, rusty undertone to them. Tyranny is my favourite eyeshadow from the 5 colors. I adore the packaging & the Mia Wallace look instructions. I bought 2 of them & one for my niece. I bought the pulp fiction lipliner too. In love with this & it was so cheap considering it has all your basic, easily blended shadows.

I bought this because it was only $16, and I don’t get the opportunity to buy UD palettes a lot. I thought, at first, that I’d hardly use this. It turns out that this is my go to for my everyday makeup, as the selection is matte and very natural. I liked that it had all the colours I wanted in one place, so I didn’t have to buy the bigger palettes for just those five colours.
Wouldn’t recommend this if you already have the bigger palettes. Good for travel and starting out.
Would definitely repurchase if I could.

This was a little bit of a ‘on a whim’ selection for me. I’d heard of UD’s Pulp Fiction collection, never seen the film, but I’d not really looked into it anymore than that. Anyway, I got this as soon as I saw it was a nice little quad (technically five shadows when you consider Furious/Anger is half and half) with mostly mattes and one shimmer shade.
Included in this palette, you’ve got:
Righteous: This is a light, pale cream matte shade, perfect as your base shade to buff from lid to brow bone
Tyranny: Staple warm matte brown shade with some orange undertones, great for warming up the crease, added definition, and its multi purpose because I actually use this occasionally for a little bit of contouring!
Vengeance: This is an almost-matte-but-not-quite deep warm brown shade, so perfect for your classic smokey eye, or for working into your outer v
Furious/Anger: This is the half and half shade, with the Anger half being a pretty bright sparkly white shade, but it is more pearlescent as opposed to having actual chunks of glitter. A classic highlighting shade. The Furious half is your standard matte black, an ever so subtle sheen on the top. The formula I find is a little bit dry, so a tad hard to work with, but then nearly every palette you get these days chucks in some form of black, its just one of those things.
Overall, the shadows are beautifully textured, soft and easy to work with, and I also like that UD is branching out a little more with some more matte shades other than the Basics Palettes. I love the fact you’ve got pretty much everything you need for either a classic daytime neutral eye or you can amp it up a little bit more for smokey nightime. I think this would be fabulous for someone who is just starting in makeup becuase it’s good quality and none of the shades are too scary.
To add to that, it’s one of UD’s cheaper palettes, at £17 I was quite impressed! You get five shadows, plus a mini double ended brush. The packaging is sleek, travel friendly and you get a little Too Faced style instructional card detaling to you how to get the ‘Mrs Mia Wallace’ look if you should want to.
To finish, this little palette is a steal, its multipurpose, and a great little additon to any kit/collection. Would recommend and repurchase.
