This a very small palette (about the size of a credit card), with a versatile color story and a formula that I really enjoyed working with.
The only shade in here that disappointed me was Caramel. Caramel performed fine, but did not match the color in the pan. Despite its name and appearance Caramel is actually a light mauve shade. I was expecting a caramel brown, so while it blended and wore well I’m just not a big mauve fan.
All of the shades performed extremely well. Jasper is a nice medium, warm brown that does need to be built up, which I prefer. Beryl is a strongly pigmented dark, almost black green that was opaque with a single tap of my brush. Morganite is gorgeous pale pink that I loved wearing over my lid, and was pretty opaque with just one swipe. Amber is a nice shimmery bronze with a rosy undertone. And Sage was a pale shimmery green with a gold base.
I love this palette. The shades blended so well and I’d be pressed to choose a favorite. Sage is my most used shade, but Tourmaline and Morganite are also ones I reach for often. Jasper works so well in the outer V and the crease that I use it almost every day even with my other palettes.
If you want to dip your toes into Viseart this is a nice palette to use and see if you like the formula. I bought mine at Beautylish for about 30 USD, and I enjoyed it so much that I will be trying more palettes from Viseart in the future.
